The Region encourages local businesses and individuals to support its program. Suitable recognition shall be given to these sponsors. Although the Sponsorship is for an individual team, and the team will receive T-shirts noting the sponsorship, the  contributions are always made to the Region rather than to that particular team.

Such contributions may be considered charitable contributions and may be deductible for U.S. tax purposes, subject to the applicable limitations in the Internal Revenue Code.
