Winter Haven Youth Soccer Association

About

Winter Haven Youth Soccer Association, Inc. (WHYSA) is a non-profit organization led by volunteers. We have been serving the youth of Winter Haven and our surrounding cities since 1978 with one objective, to provide playing opportunities to every girl and boy and to enjoy the world's most popular sport. We adhere to Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA) rules and regulations. FYSA is one of the larger member organizations of United States Youth Soccer (USYS).

We believe that all players should be able to develop their soccer skills and knowledge to the best of their abilities, both individually and as members of a team.  Our goal is to maximize their enjoyment of the game.

WHYSA prides itself in creating a positive environment based on mutual respect while providing an atmosphere of good sportsmanship which the players and teams can compete, learn, and enjoy the game of soccer. Our club's programs are designed to instill good sportsmanship in every facet of competition. We train and encourage our coaches to make the extra effort to understand and offer positive direction to our players, with educational certification classes and continued peer support.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization operating costs and expenses are becoming one of the biggest challenges facing most organizations today. It has become our priority as well. Our organization relies heavily on sponsorships and private funding. Our sponsorship packages offer businesses a great way to market themselves while supporting youth soccer. With the many issues facing our kids today, youth athletics is one of the best ways to support their positive development…and it all starts with a place to play!

Winter Haven Youth Soccer Association and our  Board encourage you to maximize your enjoyment of every season by participating in a team or approved volunteer activity. WHYSA welcomes your participation in any or all of our club activities. This is a great way to meet your neighbors and support your community. Keep in mind that your monetary contributions to our club help maintain our fields and equipment. Your donation may even be tax deductible! Please call (863) 965-0809 and leave a message or contact one of our board members if interested. You may also email us at
