2017 Spring Soccer Update!

Region 73 would like to start by saying thank you for your patience and understanding while we roll out the spring soccer season.  It has been a challenge getting everything organized.  Staff is aware of the frustration that has been expressed by some of our families but we are confident everyone will have a great soccer experience this spring season.  Again...thank you!!  

Here are the updates:

1.  Coaches have been given their rosters and will contact their player's families over the next couple of days.

2.  Uniforms arrived today (Wednesday, April 19th).  Coaches or a team parent needs to come by the information booth at Bakersfield Sports Village tomorrow (Thursday, April 20th) between 630pm and 8pm to pick up their team's uniforms.

3.  If your player is in the u4 or u5 divisions (playtime and playground) these ages don’t have coaches as they are parent participation divisions.  Please plan to come and pick up your jerseys between the hours listed above.  Jerseys will also be available on Friday between 630pm - 730pm.

4.  The schedule has been made available on our the Region 73 website and on an earlier Facebook post.

5.  There are still about 10 teams without coaches.  These teams are mixed between all age divisions for boys and girls (u4 and u5 excluded).   

6.  If you have not been contacted by a coach by Friday morning, please plan to come to the information booth at Bakersfield Sports Village on Friday (April 21st) between 630pm - 730pm as it is likely your team does not have a coach.  Be prepared to be asked to coach or to be a team parent (AKA coach).  Each team will need a responsible adult to represent their team during the games.   Every team will play but it is much better with a coach leading the team.  Without our volunteers we are unable to provide our quality soccer programs.
