2017 AYSO EXTRA Tryouts Announced

2017 AYSO EXTRA TRYOUTS!!!!!!!

EXTRA is a program that offers organized soccer for athletes with the ability and desire to play at a more competitive level and still be part of AYSO. AYSO’s core philosophies are still in place: everyone on the team plays at 3 quarters of each game; selection to teams is based on open and fair evaluations; and the teams are chosen to create a competitive balance. You can feel secure knowing your player is part of a trusted organization and will be given fair playing time. EXTRA doesn’t take away from the core program, but adds to the strength of the organization by keeping players and their families in AYSO.

Region 73 is very excited to expand upon its successful EXTRA program by holding tryouts for the following players that fall into the groups listed below.

Tryouts will be held at Bakersfield Sports Village (Field 6) as follows:
(Girls 2006 2005 2004)      Tuesday - April 18 - 6PM - 730PM AND Thursday - April 20 - 6PM to 730PM
(Girls 2008 & 2009)            Tuesday - April 25 - 530PM - 7PM AND Thursday - April 27 - 530PM to 7PM
(Boys 2008 & 2009)       Tuesday - April 25 - 630PM - 8PM AND Thursday - April 27 - 630PM - 8PM

Evaluation of each player is based on a point system from both the Tuesday and Thursday session. Make every effort to come to both sessions to allow for a proper evaluation of your child.
