Season Begins Week of June 7!

DPRYS Members,

With Monday's kick off to the season I would like to thank all of you for being part of De Pere Rapides.  It has been a long time coming and I am sure most of you are anxious to get back in to the swing of things.  It is our goal for everyone to have a fun and safe season.  With that being said, I would like to address a few topics.

Referees:
Please be respectful of the referees.  This means no yelling or complaining to the referees. This goes for all age levels.  Keep in mind the referees in our U12 and under are between the ages of 13 and 18.  They have enough to deal with during a game let alone spectators pointing things out for them.  If you do have a matter regarding a referee (Bay Lakes included) that you feel needs to be addressed, do not approach them after the game.  You can contact the DPRYS Board and let us know, or contact your coach and they can bring the matter to our attention.

Sideline Conduct:
Please be respectful of all players and spectators at the games. I know at time some games can get very competitive, but that does not excuse bad behavior.  This is a recreation league where the primary goal is for all to have fun.  Also, do not "coach" from the sideline.  Cheering is encouraged but leave instructing the players to the coaches.

Players - Jewelry/Hair Devices:
Necklaces, rings, bracelets, earrings, or any piercings are not permitted.  Any hair device made of metal or hard plastic, whether fastened in a loose braided fashion or clipped or woven tightly to the head are not permitted.

No Dogs Allowed:
Dogs are not allowed at ANY of the soccer games.  This goes for all De Pere Rapides games and all Bay-Lakes games.  Please follow this rule as it is a safety matter for everyone.

Thanks again and best of luck to all this season!

Sincerely,
Jim Westerman, President
