FRIDAY SKILLS NIGHTS
Where: MARINERS FACILITY  800 N Hamilton St, Spokane, WA 99202
When: Fridays in January and February 6:30-8:00PM Jan 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st & Feb 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th
Who: all 2025 SSLL players are invited
Why:
1) If your child does not fit the proper age for the desired division, you must have them attend at
least one skills night to be assessed by a board member to approve them for playing in a different
division. Example: your child is 7 years old and wants to play in the AAA division, or if your child is
11 years old and wants to play in the AA division. Have them come to skills night and find a board
member to make the assessment.
2) To play baseball again, to get ready for spring ball, to have fun and develop baseball skills.
What: each evening players will be divided into small groups of similar age and skill level and go
through stations for throwing, catching, fielding, hitting, and pitching (for pitchers only).
These stations will be led by a board member, coach or volunteer parent (not professional
baseball instructors).
How Much: cost is $10 per child per night. Please come with $10 cash or check made out to SSLL
and fill out a waiver.

Gonzaga Prep HS and SSLL Longtime coach Brian Munhall is running an amazing 8 week Catchers Camp for students 6th grade through High school.  The catchers camp will run Saturdays in January and February - and is truly professional level catching instruction. If you have a catcher - or an athlete that wants to become one - this is the premiere catchers camp in the Northwest. It will take place at Mariners Training Center in the Warehouse. What are skill-specific classes?

At MTC Spokane, we offer focused, one-hour weekly sessions that emphasize mastering the fundamentals through high-energy, intensive drills. Each session is capped at just 6 players to ensure personalized instruction and maximum repetitions, allowing for an optimal coach-to-player ratio. We welcome athletes of all skill levels, creating an inclusive environment where talent grows, and everyone is driven to succeed.
