Coach/Machine Pitch vs. Player Pitch?
Minors Coach/Machine Pitch - a developmental league for youth that are 6-9 years old. Our league does not use a machine for pitching (all pitching is done by coaches). We recommend players have played at least one year of baseball, though previous experience with baseball is not required.
Minors Player Pitch - a league for youth ages 9-11, with a focus to prepare them the next level, Majors, a competitive league. Youth are required to go through Player Evaluations for placement in this league. Youth competition in this level may qualify for post-season play.
Eligibility Information
To register and participate in a local Little League®, the child must legally reside within the boundaries of that League and be “League Age” to participate in the current season. Proof of residence (either three varied proof of residence documents such as a drivers' license, vehicle registration and utility bill or completion of the Little League School Verification form) are required viewing prior to a child participating.
All volunteers working directly with the children are required to complete a Volunteer Application and show a government-issued photo i.d. for a Background and Sex Offender Registry Check through Lexis/Nexis® and Little League®. Little League® does not limit participation in its activities on the basis of disability, race, color, creed, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, or religious preference, and will not turn any child away for inability to pay. If payment is prohibitive, you can request a scholarship to cover the cost of participation through Little League's T-Mobile sponsored Call Up grant.
Player Evaluations
Player evaluations will be required for all player pitch levels for baseball and softball, if there is more than one team for their division. If you are interested in your son/daughter playing outside of the division listed below for their age then they would need to come to evaluations. Evaluations are typically held in late February or early March. We will send a schedule for the day prior to the week of evaluations if necessary that season.
