The 8U division can have 3 events per week (combination of practice and games), the 10U and 12U divisions can have 4 events per week.

Practices are typically behind Penn Forest Elementry on the Darrel Shell fields.  Home games are typically at Bogle Stadium behind CSMS.  Away games range from Bogle for Hidden Valley to Ben Franklin Middle School for Franklin County.  Keep in mind that Roanoke County schedules all practices, games, and field locations (within Roanoke County) so this is subject to change

The 8U division typically has 3 practices a week – Tuesday, Thursday at 6 pm, Saturday at 9 am until Labor Day.  After Labor Day, games start and you have games on Saturday with a few mid-week games.  10U and 12U divisions have 4 events per week – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday at 6 pm for practice and Saturday at 11 am.  Once games start after Labor Day, they typically have practice on Monday, with a game on Tuesday or Wednesday, a practice on Thursday, a game on Saturday.  Keep in mind that Roanoke County schedules all practices, games, and field locations (within Roanoke County) so this is subject to change.

What equipment do I need to provide?
Football pants, mouth piece, and cleats. CSRF provides shoulder pads and helmet.

My son thinks he wants to play.  Can we try it out?
Typically, once a kid is placed on a team, we don’t provide refunds.  Teams are set, jerseys are ordered early, and all the work is done once the teams hit the fields.
