Tabernacle Athletic Association's Softball Program
Recreation Softball is available for children starting at age 4 and continues through 8th grade.
We believe in providing an opportunity for all kids to learn the fundamentals of softball, including teaching of skills and techniques, instructing the principle of good sportsmanship, providing an opportunity for fun and enjoyment, and the development of a teamwork attitude.
Softball is presently offered year-round:
1. Winter Clinic held on Saturdays in Jan/Feb (teaches fundamental skills & drills, specializing in pitching & catching, hitting, & baserunning).
2. Spring Season held from April-June where children are placed on age appropriate teams learning the game through practice & games within our Lenape Regional League (includes, Southampton, Indian Mills, Medford, Medford Lakes & Marlton).
Divisions:
Tball (age 4-1st grade)
2nd-3rd grade
4th-5th grade
6th-8th grade
3. Fall Season held September-end of October where the emphasis is placed on single weekly games to continue keeping the kids engaged in the sport with fun filled games under the lights, & Halloween themed fun within same Lenape Regional League!

4. Fall Pitching Clinic typically held in November with the focus on growing our pitching skills within the league to continue enhancing the fun and enjoyment of rec softball.

If you have any interest in helping with rec softball, volunteers are always wanted!
Positions Include: Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Field Maintenance, Snack Stand Helper,
Uniform Organizer, Team Mom/Dad, Score Keeper
