2023 FALL RECREATION PROGRAM (Kindergarten - 8th Grade)
ABOUT
The Recreational program is designed for players that are just beginning their journey in soccer, or would like to continue their journey in a fun and safe environment. We accept all levels in technical and tactical abilities with hopes of them improving those skills throughout their participation in this program. Our aim for the Recreational program is to provide players with a fun and inviting experience while learning the game of soccer.
Please note: This is a separate program from the Junior Academy and TOTs programs that are offered.
WHEN DOES THE SEASON START AND END?
- Practices will start as early as August 24th. * This is only if the team has a coach *
- The first games will start on September 9th and the last games on October 21.
- There will be no games taking place the weekend of September 23rd-24th due to LSC hosting a Fall tournament
- Games are primarily on Saturdays and some alternate Sundays if needed.
- All Practice times and locations are scheduled independently at the discretion of the coach.
Game Locations: Aronson Park, Casperson Park, Steve Michaud Park
TEAM FORMATION
Teams will be formed based on gender and grade. Some exceptions can be made with a request to the Rec Director. Teams will be formed together in the following grades: Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade, 3rd/4th Grade, 5th Grade, 6th-8th Grade (Middle School). Please be sure to register your player for the grade your child is entering for the 2023-2024 school year.
"Buddy Request" - each registrant may request to be with one buddy. Buddy requests will only be honored if each registrant requests each other.

We are very excited to announce PlayMetrics, our new all-in-one registration and communications software platform. PlayMetrics reduces the applications you use to interact and communicate with our club and your teams. Using the PlayMetrics app on your mobile phone, you can now register and communicate with us, taking our club communication and organization to the next level.
Lakeville SC will begin use of PlayMetrics via registrations for Fall 2023 registrations, with full integration to begin as we launch all Fall programming. SportsConnect will continue to be utilized through July 31 for Summer Rec, Camps, and programming currently in operation.

PlayMetrics allows you to register and communicate with your teams all in one place whether at home or on the go. It helps us communicate with all of our families more clearly and effectively, including updates to practice schedules and field closures as they happen. The PlayMetrics platform ensures that you are always in sync with your team and never out of the loop.
Guarantee Deadline:
Registrations before July 31, 2023, will be guaranteed placement.
Any registrations received after the deadline will result in a $15 LATE FEE. Registrations received after August 1 will be accepted as space on teams will be allowed or may be placed on a wait list. Please note - registering late will result in a delay of uniform up to 2-3 weeks.
Refund Policy:
If a player drops for any reason, the refund will be as follows:
§ Prior to the Late Fee taking effect (prior to August 1, 2023): A full refund will be issued on request.
§ After the Late Fee takes effect but prior ot team announcement: Refund of all but a $25 admin fee
§ After teams have been announced: (even if players cannot attend scheduled practices) NO REFUND will be given

WHAT DO I NEED?
Shin guards *mandatory at all games and practices.*
Soccer cleats are recommended but not required.
Water bottle and a soccer ball that is the necessary size (K-1st = size 3, 2nd-6th = size 4).
No jewelry is allowed for safety of players, including earrings/studs.
