Babe Ruth Quickball Division Information

6u Babe Ruth Quickball Division: Ages 4-6yrs

We are excited to offer Babe Ruth Quickball again this season for our youngest players ages 4 - 6yo.

During the 2018 season, the Southern Chester County Babe Ruth League decided to merge traditional T-ball game with USA Quickball.  Quickball comes to us from Cal Ripkin, Sr. Foundation and is aimed to invigorate interest in the game of baseball.

Quickball provides youngsters with an opportunity to learn the game of baseball effectively in a safe and entertaining manner compared to traditional T-Ball.

Quickball teaches all diamond skills in a more active, engaging way. Anyone can play and teamwork is emphasized on all levels. Each player gets to try for a single, double, triple and home run in every game! There’s also scoring on both offense and defense and anyone can succeed regardless of skill level.

What makes Quickball such a successful program is its inclusiveness and action-packed game structure. It teaches and strengthens baseball skills by offering multiple hitting, fielding and throwing chances for all players during each game. Innovative concepts such as timed team at bats, rapid batter rotation and two-way scoring keep games moving and get every- one involved - critical elements in grabbing the attention of today’s kids.
