2018 Fall Tball to Rookie Clinics

The purpose of the Quickball to Rookie Level Clinics is to introduce players moving up from the Quickball Division to the skills needed in the Rookie Division. Players will learn to hit off of a pitching machine, run the bases, fielding, throwing out the lead runner, and infield positioning. The goal is to prepare players moving up from the Quickball Division to the Rookie Division and minimize the transition during the early Spring season.

Age:
   - Any 5yo turning 6yo prior to May 1, 2019 and skills evaluated beyond Quickball
     - Any 6yo turning 7yo prior to May 1, 2019 and completed Quickball eligibility
     - Any 7yo or 8yo prior to May 1, 2019 that completed their first year of Rookie Division and will play at the
       Rookie Level in Spring 2019.

Dates:
     - Clinics begin on Saturday September 8, 2018 and run for 8 straight weeks, ending on Saturday October 27, 2018

Time:
     - 9:00am to 10:30am (subject to change depending on enrollment)

Location:
     - Minch Park Lower Field - Parkesburg, PA

Registration Fee:
     - $45.00

Skills:
     - Hitting
            -> hitting off of a pitching machine
            -> batting stance

     - Fielding
            -> learning each infield position
            -> learning positional coverages
            -> throwing out the lead runner
            -> proper throwing techniques
            -> fielding fly balls

     - Base Running
            -> running through first base
            -> rounding first base
            -> sliding

     - Mini Games
            -> toward the end of the clinics, the players will break up into two teams and play mini games to practice the skills learned
