Law 1 – The Field of Play:

Shall conform to IFAB with the follow exceptions
Recreation Division - Are playing 9v9 and will play on a 9v9 field and that field's dimensions will be in accordance with USSF's PDI.
Law 2 – The Ball:

Law 3 – The Players:
·
Shall conform to IFAB with the following exceptions
· Open Co-Ed – two
females must be on the field of play at all times during play. If a female is
not on the field of play the team will play down by the number of missing
females.
·
Recreation Division - Are playing 9v9. One Female must be on the field of play at all times during play. If a female
is not on the field of play the team will play down by the number of missing
females. If one team is short female players a decision can be made between
both captains and the referee to allow extra female players from one side to
play for the other. (2023)
· Law 4 – The Player’s Equipment:

Shall conform to IFAB with the following exception
·
Casts will be allowed
with doctor’s release and MUSC release to be presented to the referee at each
game.
o Casts must be padded to make it safe for all participants
o The referee will make the final decision as to the safety of the padding.
Law 5 – The Referee:

Law 6 – The Other Match Officials:

Law 7 – The Duration of the Match:

Shall conform to IFAB with the following exceptions
·
If a match is
abandoned after a suspension in play after the first half has been completed it
will stand as a complete match. The score at the time of abandonment will be
the final score.
- In
situations where a winner needs to be determined and the need for over time
exists. The overtime shall consist of 2-10 minute periods starting 5
minutes after the end of regulation time and allowing 5 minutes between
the two overtime periods. The
conditions of Law 8 will apply.
- If
after this overtime there is still no winner, follow IFAB’s Kicks from the
Penalty Mark.
Law 8 - The Start and Restart of Play:

Law 10 – Determining the Outcome of a Match:

The Rec Division –
any one player may score no more than two goals per game. If additional goals
are scored they will not count and will result in a goal kick.
Law 11 – Offside:

Law 12 – Fouls and Misconduct:

·
Open Co-ed and
Rec Division – No slide tackling is allowed. This will be deemed as playing in
a dangerous manner and an Indirect Free Kick will be awarded, assuming a more serious offense
was not committed in in the process of the tackle.
·
Rec Division – The
goalkeeper is not to be charged. If this occurs a Direct Free Kick will be awarded at the
spot of the infraction.
Law 13 – Free Kicks:
