General Information

PYBSA Recreational Fall Baseball/Softball is an eight (8) week season with eight (8) regular season games.

Each registered player will be added to a team regardless of skill level and/or past participation as outlined in the PYBSA Local Rules of Play, Section VII – Player Draft. Age groups will be based on PONY cutoffs dates for 2022 (August 31, 2022 for Baseball, January 1, 2022 for Softball) with the intent to prepare players for the upcoming spring season. Teams are limited to four (4) events (i.e. practices, games, team functions) a week. Typically, coaches/teams practice twice a week and all teams will play on each Saturday.

*Assigned leagues will be based off of the player’s age as of August 31st, 2022 for baseball (including Blastball 4U) and January 1, 2022 for softball.
**PYBSA registration fees cover the cost of the player's jersey and a hat. In addition, each player will receive an end-of-season participation medallion. The registration fee also covers operating costs like umpires, electricity, water, trash and more. Players will be responsible to purchase other uniform items like pants, belt, and socks. Players will also need a playing glove and batting helmet. In order to keep costs as low as possible, PYBSA requires all players to participate in a seasonal fundraiser. The season fundraiser monies are used for all park/field improvements and maintenance. $30min. ($35 online) per each registration. 


Registration can be completed by one of the following options:
1.    ONLINE Registrations will begin on Thursday, July 1st  for the 2021 Recreational Baseball/Softball Fall Season. Create an account today and register your player starting July 1st.  Visa, MasterCard, or American Express is accepted.

2.    IN-HOUSE Registration: PYBSA Board Members will be available to help with registrations or to answer any questions. In-house registrations will take place at the PYBSA's main concession stand located behind Field #2 on the following dates and times:

Registration: Returning Members/Players: Go to, click on Login and log into your account. Under “My Account,” click on “Register Now” and choose the appropriate Available Program. Answer a few season specific questions and checkout. Visa, MasterCard, or American Express is accepted at checkout.

Welcome! Go to, click on Register on the top right side of the home page and follow the onscreen instructions. Add your participant (player) information and choose the appropriate available program. NOTICE: All registration fees must be received no later than August 11th. Registrations that have not paid by August 11th will be considered incomplete and the participant will NOT be entered into the Player Draft.

Play Up? : By PONY Baseball/Softball Rules and Regulations, players have the ability to "Play Up" an age group. Should registrants wish for their player to Play Up, please register the player in their appropriate age group. Then, notify PYBSA at [email protected] to be transfered to the next are group. Players may NOT play down in any league/age group.
