Spring Academy

Spring Academy builds on the progress from the fall. Run by parent volunteers, each team has one weekly practice chosen by the coach(es), with intramural scrimmages on Saturdays.

RYSA Academy focuses on skill and confidence development in soccer. Players are grouped by age and ability for a competitive and challenging environment.

The spring season runs from May 5th to June 6th.

Fall Recreation Program

2024 FALL SOCCER

2024 Fall rec soccer will run for 7 weeks from September 7th to October 26th.  There is no soccer Columbus Day weekend.  All ages meet once a week and we will do a Jamboree every other Saturday (numbers permitting).

**October 26th is Costume Day!  Everyone is encouraged to wear their kid friendly Halloween Best to soccer.**

RYSA U6, U7, and U8 groups are RYSA's Fall Academy Program and are all about having fun while developing individual and team soccer skills.  Volunteer parent coaches are needed for this program to run.  Experience is not necessary.

Shin guards ARE required for all Academy players. **Cleats are optional at this age but MUST be soccer specific.  Other sport cleats have spike patterns that can be dangerous to others when playing soccer.

U6 - birth year 2020
U7 - birth year 2019

Birth year 2018 and older join RYSA Travel Soccer
.  No experience is necessary for Travel Soccer.  Teams practice twice a week at RYSA and have approximately eight games a season.  Games are one hour long and usually on Saturdays - half at RYSA and half in local towns such as Dover, Epping, Kittery, etc.

Parent volunteers are needed for RYSA to provide youth soccer.  RYSA is run solely by volunteers - coaches, field maintenance, summer concessions, the board of directors, etc - everyone is a parent volunteer.  Volunteer needs include - coaching, lining fields, setting up & putting away equipment, sponsorships, general maintenance, bathroom restocking, etc.  If you can help in any small or big way, please let us know.

Please remember to open and read EVERY email from RYSA. This is one of the only ways to keep all parents and players up to date with possible changes and essential information about your season. We realize that there can be many emails, but it is so important to read each one. Please don't unsubscribe, as this will prevent you from getting important updates and information.
