2023 Summer Soccer
Hello Players and Families!
Welcome back to another great season of summer soccer. RYSA is one of the few soccer clubs in the state that provides a summer soccer program for children aged three through u14. The summer program runs on Mondays & Wednesdays (U6-U14) and Thursdays (Little Kickers). All practices and games are held at the RYSA fields.
Please be sure your child brings water to each practice or game.
Little Kickers (birth years (2019, 2020)
Our Little Kickers program is designed to introduce our youngest players to the basics of soccer and practice movement skills. The participation of a parent is required at this age. Volunteer coaches will be leading the parents through this once-a-week program. Closed toe shoes are required at this age. Shin guards are recommended but not required.
Thursdays 5:30-6:15
Academy Program (birth years 2014-2018)
Our U6 (2018), U7 (2017), U8 (2016), U9 (2015), and U10 (2014) groups are RYSA's Academy Program and are all about developing individual skills through hundreds of ball touches each practice. This program run two days per week. Parent volunteers are always welcome. Sneakers and shin guards are required at this age.
U6 and U7 - Mondays and Wednesdays 5-6pm
U8 and U9 - Mondays and Wednesdays 6-7pm
U10 - Mondays and Wednesdays 7-8pm
Recreational Game Teams (birth years 2005-2013)
U11 through High School teams will generally have two games a week based on the number of players and teams on our schedule. This program is scrimmage/game only. There are no instructional practices. An official will referee each game, and parent volunteers will coach. Parent volunteers are needed for this program. Sneakers and shin guards are required at this age. SOCCER SPECIFIC cleats are recommended but not required. Baseball, softball, football or other sport cleats are PROHIBITED. The different cleat patterns of other sport cleats pose a significant injury risk to other players during soccer.
U11/U12 (2013-2012) - Mondays and Wednesdays 6-7pm
U13/U14 (2011-2010)- Mondays and Wednesdays 6-7pm
High School (2009-2005)*

2022 FALL SOCCER
Get ready for another great season of Saturday morning soccer! 2022 Fall rec soccer will run for 7 weeks from September 10th to October 29th. There is no soccer Columbus Day weekend. All ages meet once a week - Saturdays at 9am.
**October 29th is Costume Day! Everyone is encouraged to wear their kid friendly Halloween Best to soccer.**RYSA Little Kickers Program introduces our youngest players to the basics of soccer and moving the ball. The participation of a parent is required at this age. Volunteer coaches lead the parents and children through fun games and activities. Please wear sneakers and bring a water bottle. Shin guards and cleats are not required at this age.
Ages 3 & 4 (birth years 2018, 2019)
Saturdays, 9-9:45am
Cost - $55
RYSA U6, U7, and U8 groups are RYSA's Fall Academy Program and are all about having fun while developing individual and team soccer skills. Volunteer parent coaches are needed for this program to run. Experience is not necessary.
Shin guards ARE required for all Academy players. **Cleats are optional at this age but MUST be soccer specific. Other sport cleats have spike patterns that can be dangerous to others when playing soccer.

Saturdays, 9-10am
Cost - $85
Birth year 2014 and older join RYSA Travel Soccer. No experience is necessary for Travel Soccer. Teams practice twice a week at RYSA and have approximately eight games a season. Games are one hour long and usually on Saturdays - half at RYSA and half in local towns such as Dover, Epping, Kittery, etc.
Parent volunteers are needed for RYSA to provide youth soccer. RYSA is run solely by volunteers - coaches, field maintenance, summer concessions, the board of directors, etc - everyone is a parent volunteer. Volunteer needs include - coaching, lining fields, setting up & putting away equipment, sponsorships, general maintenance, bathroom restocking, etc. If you can help in any small or big way, please let us know.
Please remember to open and read EVERY email from RYSA. This is one of the only ways to keep all parents and players up to date with possible changes and essential information about your season. We realize that there can be many emails, but it is so important to read each one. Please don't unsubscribe, as this will prevent you from getting important updates and information.
