AABOA Membership Application

 AABOA Basketball Official Membership Pre-Application

Atlanta Area (AABOA) welcomes new members each season who are committed to a community of basketball officials dedicated to providing quality coverage to each of it contracted school assignments.  Keep in mind that we DO NOT book any recreation league basketball.  Prior experience is welcomed but not required if you are willing to attend a minimum of per-season trainings sessions, complete the rules clinic, exam and participate in scrimmage games. Becoming a high school basketball official is not difficult, but it does require some patience as you learn the rules and mechanics thoroughly. In summary it takes competence (rules knowledge) to develop confidence (rules application). If you are available and dependable you are a candidate to begin the process. We will train those committed to the processes of development to become a quality official.
