Coaching licenses are not needed to start coaching, however, clinics will be offered during the season. Check for available coaching clinics at the MSA website.

Coach License Requirement
All MSA coaches must have earned a minimum of the state required coaching license equivalent to the age group in which they coach before they can coach in any MSA organized game or tournaments (that includes Districts and State Cups). See the below table for details:
Effective September 1st, 2009 with full implementation September 1st, 2010. Newly registered/rostered coaches will have 3 months to obtain age appropriate licensing after registration.
