2014 SUMMER TRACK SEASON (REGISTRATION OPENS MARCH 16. COST TO JOIN IS $125/ATHLETE)This is a competitive program for boys and girls ages 18years and under. This program will last apx 13 weeks, with practice starting first week in May, and end with the final championships the first weekend in August. Practices will be every Tuesday and Thursday in May from 6:30-8pm, and then switch in June to Wedneday evenings at 7-830pm. All practices will be held at Comfort High School. Coaches will work with athletes as a group to provide the overall physical conditioning and basic skills needed in all events. Event specific training will take place at the second half of every practice at both group and individual levels. AAU and TAAF offer a wide variety of events depending on the athlete's age. The following are examples of what an athlete can compete in: sprints, relays, hurdles, middle & long distance, long jump, high jump, shot put, discus, turbo javelin, javelin. We will find an event for everyone! There will be local travel involved (mostly San Antonio) and is at the cost of the parent/athlete. Spectator entry fees for most meets is about $5-10. Registration fees cover the following:

• AAU individual association fees
• TAAF individual association fees
• Entry fees to four AAU practice meets
• Entry fees to AAU Regional Qualifer Meet
• Entry fees to TAAF Regional Qualifier Meet
• Team uniforms
• Secondary Insurance
• End of Season Party
