Youth Softball

General softball information: Practices start in March, games in April and tournaments will be toward the end of June/beginning of July for ages 5-12. The older age groups will start later due to school ball. We will have games in and out of park for ages 5-18. We are providing t-ball for ages 3-4 again this year, which are in-park and games are on Saturdays. There might be a few week games added.

Registration: Online registration is open for ages 5-18. In-park sign ups are February 6th, 13th, & 20th from 10am-2pm above the Quad concessions.

Uniform fittings: Each player must attend mandatory fittings either February 6th, 13th, or 20th

Prices are as follows:
December 15th thru February 20, 2023 cost $125 for ages 5-18
No Late signups after February 20th unless needed to fill teams

Fall Softball

General fall softball information: Practices will start the last week of August or the first week of September. Most games will be double headers in order to maximize the amount of games we are able to play. The season will typically run through October but will be dependent upon the weather. Girls will play with the age group that they will participate in during the following Spring. Due to the number of participants, we may be forced to combine age groups. The decision on final organization of the league will be made by the commissioner based upon participation.

Registration: TBD

Uniforms: Players will be provided with a league T-shirt for games but will be responsible for providing their own pants.

• Double Elimination Tournament

• Game Times 12:00 & 1:00, 2:00 & 3:00, 4:00 & 5:00

• 1 Umpire per game regular season

• 2 Umpires in tournament games

NEW TO THIS SEASON

• Flip scoreboard behind home plate

• Strike Zone Mat

• Pitching will be moved back to 50 feet

• No arguing with umpires. Only captain can address umpire directly in a professional manner

• No offensive language by players or in music playing from dugouts

• Trash Clean up

• Last teams of the day will be responsible for cleaning up their dugout/ bleacher areas and taking trash bag up to dumpster.

• Captains will be held responsible for their teams. Failure to comply with the previously stated rules will result in:

• 1st offense for same issue -Captain will be warned by umpire during game and commisioner following

• 2nd offense for same issue-Captain and/or player causing problems will be suspended the following week

• 3rd Offense for same issue- Team will be asked to leave park and not return with no refunds

The 2019 fall season is on a probationary period to see if we can improve on behavior and trash clean up for adult softball. This is why the league will stick to 6 teams from the start. We would like to continue this league for seasons to come, but that will all depend on everybody doing their part to help.
