Thank you for your interest in becoming a referee for Eastgate Soccer!

We are always on the hunt for new and experienced referees alike. Whether you are a seasoned soccer referee, a seasoned referee from another sport, or, completely new to officiating we need you! NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.

 
     
  Refereeing is both a fun and exciting experience. Many of our referees are soccer players themselves who referee to further enhance their own love and appreciation for the game. All of our referees have a desire to assist younger players in their understanding of the rules of the game and are their to make sure games are fair and safe for all those involved.  
     
   Eastgate Soccer awards its referees fees for each game officiated. The fee schedule is as follows:

Online Training

 
  Cincinnati Hills SAY Soccer (CHSS) requires all new and recertifying referees to take the online course at the following address. They ask you complete this online course prior to proceeding to any of the following steps.

Forms

CHSS requires referees to complete the following forms. Please submit these to the referee coordinator. The Risk Management/Volunteer Form need only be completed by referees 18 or older.

1. CHSS Referee Registration Form 2009
2. CHSS Risk Management/Volunteer Form (only for referees over 18 years of age)

Both of these forms require Adobe Reader.
 
   


 
 

Certification Class

CHSS requires new referees and existing referees to attend a certification class every year. Referees must then pass the test with a minimum score of 80%.

Certification class date, time and location take will be posted on this website under  the "News" section of the main page. It will also be emailed out to all referees by the referee coordinator.
 
   


 
 

Additional Guidelines

In addition CHSS requires referees to read and adhere to the referee guidelines. These guidelines can be found here on the CHSS website.

Referees must be at least 12 years of age and must have completed 6th grade.
