Roy Gayle Pony Baseball / Softball, Inc. is a non-profit organization that operates youth baseball and softball leagues at the
Randerson–Carlson Sports Complex, located at 903 South Meridian Road, Rockford, IL 61102, near the intersection of Meridian Road and By-Pass 20 on the west side of Rockford.
The organization is affiliated with and sanctioned by PONY Baseball, Inc.
Mission Statement
“Roy Gayle Pony Baseball / Softball, Inc. is committed to providing organized baseball and softball leagues for youth ages 5–15 in the Rockford community.
Our mission is to encourage personal and physical skill development, social interaction, and sportsmanship so that players grow into mature, responsible young adults.
The Executive Board, staff, managers, coaches, umpires, parents, and volunteers all recognize that while winning is enjoyable, it is always secondary to skill development,
teamwork, and the positive growth of our youth.”

The organization proudly supports nine leagues with more than 70 teams and over 1,000 players each season:

Our Facilities
The Randerson–Carlson Sports Complex is one of the premier baseball and softball facilities in the region. It features:
- 8 well-maintained diamonds
- 4 parking lots
- A large concession stand
- Multiple storage facilities
About the Organization
Roy Gayle Pony Baseball / Softball has proudly served the Rockford community for more than 60 years.
The program is run entirely by volunteers—no funds are spent on administration—and its success is made possible by the dedication of sponsors, benefactors, and community support.
We are continually seeking donations and annual sponsorships to enhance programs and improve facilities for the youth of the Rockford area.
