Lexington Leisure Center

Amazing Race

Ages 7-14. Are you ready for an adventure? Send your learner on a trip with Snapology around the world to discover unique aspects of different cultures, including national flags, traditional cuisines, influential artists, and notable historical landmarks! Animation Studio

Baking Camp

Budding pastry chefs will immerse themselves in a world of mixing, measuring, and practicing the art of baking. From crafting the perfect cookie to decorating cupcakes with colorful flair, each day offers a new and exciting baking challenge. Our hands-on activities not only teach fundamental baking skills but also encourage creativity and teamwork. Students will focus on following recipes, proper measuring, classic techniques, presentation, working cleanly and safely in the kitchen, and exploring new flavors. Barbie Ballet Camp

"Bring It" Cheer & Dance Camp

Combat Robots

Ages 7-14. Do you think you can build the strongest and most agile robot? Can your robot win a head-to-head combat mission? Come learn engineering strategies for building sturdy structures using LEGO® bricks and then apply that knowledge to build a robot for friendly competition. Cooking Camp

At our hands-on cooking camp, young chefs will explore a variety of cooking techniques, culinary traditions, and global flavors. Creature Creators Robotics

Gladiator Nerf Games Camp

Guitar Camp
Jun 17-21, 1-4pm | $150 | Ben Broughton
This weeklong camp is designed to engage guitarists at each level from beginner to advanced. Content will be tailored to each person's skill set and level. This fun and engaging camp will cover/include the basics of music, scales, chords, solo performance opportunities, and ensemble performances. The week will culminate with a Friday concert from all participants. Participants will need to bring their own instrument. Jedi Masters

Ages 7-14. In this program, your youngling will explore the galaxy with their master building skills and our intergalactically-focused curriculum. Motivated to become Jedi like the heroes in the movies, students will learn to concentrate on mastering the Force, appreciating the use of teamwork to build battle drones and AT-Walkers, and if their skills are up to par, make their very own lightsaber and use it in battle! Pokemon TCG Camp

Ages 8 and up.  "It’s time to, “Catch ‘Em All”!  Join us for Pokemon Camp, and discover fun Pokemon and Trainers, learn how to build your own deck, and battle with other new trainers!  Pokemon Camp will help campers learn the basics of Pokemon, get tips and tricks for building their very own deck, learn strategies during tcg battles, and play competitive battles against each other.  Trainers will get to take home their own deck, a mini binder, pack of sleeves and a deck box, along with some promo cards.  Basic Reading and Math skills are required. Rocket League

Ages 10-17.  The Midlands Gaming Coalition is a premiere camp for young adults wishing to participate in the exciting world of E-Sports. Kid’s Fit for Life

Ages 6-14.  In everyday life as in sports we need to be able to move quickly, easily and with balance; we must be able to push and pull, squat and lift objects, walk, run, skate, ski, we must be able to rotate; and we must be able to handle and react to the unexpected. The human body can only move in these 5 ways, Pushing > Pulling > Level Change > Locomotion> Rotation. Kids Fit 4 Life will spend all week training these human movements. Come get your adventuring on! At RolePlaying Games (RPG) Camp, learn how to create a character, go on an adventure with friends, and fight anyone who gets in the way!  RPGs are a great way to build friendships, improve social skills, learn problem and puzzle solving skills, critical thinking, teamwork, and encourage a love of imagination and adventure!  Learn how to build your own character, the basics of Dungeons & Dragons, and how to take turns and play cooperatively with others.  Adventurers will be able to take home a miniature and self-built character, a set of dice and a dice bag.  Basic Reading and Math skills are required. Boys & Girls ages 4-9.  This fun & exciting camp will develop skills in flipping, tumbling, balancing, & lots of jumping tramp fun.  The camp offers skills/routines on bars, beams, tramps, and boxes. Tennis Complexes

Summer Tennis & Pickleball Camps
The Lexington County Recreation & Aging Commission offers weekly tennis and pickleball camps at both of its premier tennis facilities, The Lexington County Tennis Complex and The Cayce Tennis & Fitness Center. Each camp runs 5 days per week with structured lesson plans to get children playing the sport quickly through dynamic, fun drills and games. We also offer extended care options for parents looking to keep their kids active during the day while at work or on the go. During these extended care options kids will remain active playing other sports, games and activities.

Nationally ranked Olympic weightlifter and USAW certified coach is ready to help you whether you’re an athlete looking to get stronger for your sport, you’re interested in competing in Olympic weightlifting, or you just want to learn something new. VolleyTots Summer Day Camp 2024

Co-ed Ages: 4-8. Nationally recognized youth volleyball program. VolleyTots is our most exciting new program! VolleyTots is designed to teach boys and girls ages 4-8 the fundamentals of volleyball. Through drills using ladders, cones, and REALLY soft volleyballs, kids will increase foot speed, develop hand-eye coordination, and engage in social activities coached by Kenzie Wood, the Youth Volleyball DIrector for Carolina Rogue Volleyball Come join the fun!
