Custodian
Job Description:
Under general supervision, maintains assigned area(s) of the Commission’s facilities in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition by performing various repetitive tasks using necessary equipment and supplies. Must be able to work in all weather conditions. Work involves bending, heights, and lifting to 75 pounds. May be required to work weekends and nights as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Education – High School Diploma or GED
Minimum Qualification - Prefer previous experience with custodial or janitorial duties. Applicants must possess a valid SC Driver’s License) and be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Driver - Senior Center

Swansea Senior Center and Pine Ridge Senior Center (40hr/week)

Job Description:
The duties include transportation of seniors to and from the center and assists with daily duties at the center. Must have good people skills, able to lift 25 pound on a regular basis, and have a SC Driver’s license. Experience in Aging Services preferred.

Rate of Pay:
$10/hour

Electrical Assistant
Job Description:
Under general supervision, performs a variety of maintenance-related jobs including electrical maintenance of equipment in facilities; installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and lighting systems. Work involves bending, heights, and lifting to 75 pounds. Must have good communication skills. May be required to work weekends and nights as needed. Valid SC Drivers’ License and must be able to obtain a CDL license within the first 6 months of employment. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Minimum Education – High School Diploma or GED
Minimum Qualification – Electrical certification preferred

Job Description
Under general supervision, performs a variety of maintenance related jobs to include: landscaping throughout the sports complex, field maintenance and overall clean up in and around the main building.  Must be able to work in all weather conditions.  Work involves bending, heights and lifting.  Weekend hours are required.

Mechanic
Job Description:
Under general supervision, performs a variety of repairs to machinery and equipment including vehicles, tractors, small engines, and heavy equipment. Must be able to lift and/or carry weights of 75 pounds. Must possess a valid SC Drivers’ License and be able to obtain a CDL license to include Class A, combination, and passenger endorsements, within the first 6 months of employment. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Education – High School Diploma or GED
Minimum Qualification – 3 to 5 years of experience in motor vehicle maintenance mechanics, ASE Certified preferred, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Front Desk Staff
Barr Road Sports Complex
Part-time position.  Responsible for greeting and assisting the public.  Must be able to answer questions in person and on the phone, distribute information, process registrations, and perform other office and facility related tasks.  Job involves supervising events and tournaments, and working the canteen.  You must be able to move equipment up to 50 lbs.  Hours will generally be nights and weekends.  Applicants must have a high school diploma.  Submit applications in person at the Barr Road Sports Complex or email them to Erin Chinners.

Lexington County Tennis Complex
Part time position. 20-25 hours/week $9/hr.
