Xtreme Lacrosse is a community based organization that educates, equips and empowers youth sports leaders, volunteers, and parents so all children can enjoy the lifelong benefits of sports and the game of lacrosse.
Our program was created to fulfill the ever growing demands and needs of the Lake Norman lacrosse community. We currently serve the four counties of: Mecklenburg, Catawba, Lincoln, and Iredell. We are committed to raising the level of play and exposure for all players who choose to be a member of the Team Xtreme family.
Beginning with our kindergarten program, we teach sound fundamentals, sportsmanship, and proven game tactics providing players with the tools necessary to succeed in each of our advancing age divisions through High School. By taking a progressive, systematic approach employed through a unified coaching staff, our teams will be prepared to compete with the best teams in the region and more importantly have fun season after season.
Xtreme Lacrosse players will enjoy the benefit of being outfitted with team helmets at the recreation levels. Our #1 mission is to grow the game in our community. Youth football programs do not require participants to buy a very expensive (cost prohibitive) helmet, why should we?
Our goal is to make each players youth lacrosse experience a memorable one! We believe childhood experiences are worth a little extra investment!
Our commitment to our player’s development and success will continue to thrive through our Lake Norman Outlaws travel program. Players wishing to take their game beyond the recreation level can tryout for our travel teams, which compete in southeast regional tournaments in the fall and summer.
“I am privileged to have grown up in the best lacrosse community in the nation! Playing lacrosse on Long Island, NY for the one of the nations top power house programs has given me an incredible education for this great game. Winning a State Championship as the #1 ranked HS team in the country, and then going on to earn All-American status twice as a player is a testament to the great coaching I received throughout my youth lacrosse experience.
Coaching since 2001, my goal is to deliver the same quality of youth lacrosse I experienced on Long Island to my community and beyond!
Recreation lacrosse should be about learning and applying sound lacrosse fundamentals, not just participation. Winning games at the recreation level is not the focus, however I believe that winning is a product of preparation and hard work, both of which will be taught to all of our players. Being a part of a team is an invaluable experience that develops character like no other childhood event. It is my utmost goal to see each and every player grow and realize their full potential as a result of this program.”
