Election Information

This is a great opportunity for you to make a difference and help shape the future of Mason SAY Soccer.  We receive feedback and ideas throughout the seasons from parents and coaches and this is the time for you to step up and help make changes that will make our organization even stronger in the future.

Any parent/guardian of an active Mason SAY player are eligible to run and vote for board member positions. Open positions (all 2-year terms) include Vice President, Treasurer, and 1 Trustee.

To run for a position, please send a text message to our President James Konicki to 513-415-0130

In the text message, include your name (first and last), what position(s) you are running for, and “Mason SAY Election”. 
This must be received by Friday November 1 to be placed on the voting ballot. Ballots will be given to all members present in-person at the election.

The Mason S.A.Y. Organization

The Mason S.A.Y. organization consists of five board members: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Member-at-Large. There are also three Trustees (Trustees are non-voting members). These are elected positions. Meetings are held the first Monday of the Month. Meeting locations vary month-to-month.

About the Positions

Each Board position has a 2-year term. Board meetings are the first Monday of the month.

The following board positions are open in 2024:


Vice President:

  • Preside in the absence of the President
  •  Carry out such duties as may be delegated by the President
  •  Assist in the recruiting of sponsors
  •  Assist the Coach Coordinator in development of coaches

Treasurer:

  • Collect all funds due the organization and make disbursements for payment for any uncommon bills as approved by 3/5 vote of the Executive Committee
  • All deposits need to be made within five (5) days of receipt
  • Keep a complete and open set of books
  • If unavailable for signature, any two of the other Executive Committee members may sign for the approved expenditure
  • Prepare financial statement for each monthly meeting
  • Submit the books to the President and the Trustees in January of each year for the purpose of audit
  • Assist in the recruiting of sponsors.
  • The Treasurer may signatory regular monthly bills without a second signature

Trustee: responsibilities vary and are flexible
