Fall 2018 Rec Soccer REGISTRATION is OPEN! 2014-2009 Birth Year Divisions

Fall 2018 Early registration discount Fee $95 if registered by 6/15. After 6/15 fall rec fee $120, registration will close 6/22.*
 
Registrations will not be accepted after 6/22 unless a roster spot remains. Be sure to register before the 6/22 deadline.

Rec Fee includes a uniform(jersey, shorts, socks).

Our Recreation program is tailored to each group, focusing on fundamentals and fun. We will do our best to develop player skill, teach teamwork, and encourage good sportsmanship.

PEEWEE (Recreation) 2014 and 2013 birth year players.
  • Open to all children with 2014 and 2013 birth years. Each birth year will play in a separate division on Friday evenings. 
  • Co-ed teams (in town play)
  • Players will be taught the beginning fundamentals of soccer. These include kicking, dribbling, and passing. 
  • Fun and success will be the guiding principle for this age group. 
  • Equipment: Each player will need to have a size 3 ball and shin pads. Cleated shoes are optional. 
  • Practices/Games are held on Friday evenings.
  • Games: Friday Evening - 3 or 4 versus 3 or 4 players / no goalkeepers. Three 10-minute periods played. 

MICRO GIRLS (Recreation)  2012 and 2011 birth year players. 
  • Open to all girls born in the 2012 & 2011 birth year.
  • In town play.
  • Players will be taught to further develop the basic soccer skills of kicking, dribbling, and passing. 
  • The small-sided practices and games will introduce basic tactics of soccer. Players will also be taught the aspects of teamwork and sportsmanship. 
  • Fun and success will continue to be the guiding principle.
  • Equipment: Each player will need to have a size 3 ball and shin pads. Cleated shoes are optional. 
  • Practices 1x a week with GPS trainers and coaches are scheduled for either Monday or Tuesdays or Wednesdays approximate time  5:30 to 6:30p or 6:30p to 7:30p : 8 sessions scheduled.Day of week and time  will be determined once registration closes. 
  • Games will be played on early Saturday mornings:time TBD once registration closes.
  • Game Format will be dependent on the number of players registered. Most likely 4 v 4  no goalkeepers. Four 10-12 minute quarters. 

MICRO BOYS (Recreation) 2012 and 2011 birth year players. 
  • Open to all boys 2012 & 2011 birth year.
  • In town play.

Intermural (Recreation) 2010 & 2009 birth year players.
  • Open to all children born in 2010 and 2009.
  • Will play in an intermural league with other local area clubs: Swedesboro-Woolwich, South Harrison, Woodstown, Franklin Twp towns may change, will depend on number of players registered within the other local towns fall program.
  • Teams will either be boys or girls or COED, depending upon the numbers that register. 
  • Players will continue to develop their individual technical skills. More emphasis will be placed on the team tactics in the game of soccer. All the rules of soccer will be applied to game play. 
  • A more competitive environment will be present. 
  • Teamwork and sportsmanship will continue to be emphasized. 
  • Equipment: Each player will need to have a size 4 ball, shinpads, and cleated shoes. 
  • Practices with GPS trainers and coaches are scheduled 1x a week for either Mondays or Tuesdays or Wednesdays  approximate time to 7p-8 pm, final day TBD once registration closes. 8 sessions are scheduled.
  • Fall games to be played on Saturdays, late morning-early afternoon – Game format 7 v 7. All rules of soccer will apply.
