Do I need to buy a uniform for my child?
No! A t-shirt is included in your enrollment fee and we ask that your child wears this shirt every week. The shirts don’t need to be customized and they can wear whatever athletic shorts they want!
Does my player need to wear cleats and shinguards?
No! Cleats and shinguards are optional! Tennis shoes are required and will be just fine for this program!
Will there be a separate day for games?
There is no separate game schedule for this program! Each session, players will learn a skill, practice the skill playing interactive, fun games and then scrimmage the last 10-15 minutes. They will get the full soccer experience in 45 minutes a week!
Do players tryout for this program or is there a required skill level to participate?
This program is for everyone! From very beginners to players who have a year or two under their belt, this program offers everyone the opportunity to learn, grow and have fun!
Is this a parent and me program?
Not exactly. We know that sometimes kids can take a few sessions to warm up, so you are more than welcome to assist them in feeling comfortable! But we know that after a session or two, they will be having so much fun that they will be jumping right into the activities without you!
What is the difference between Future Stars and a Recreational Team?
Future Stars was specifically designed to give kids a soccer experience without the big commitment of joining a team, or attending multiple times a week. There is also a large population of 2-5 year old kids who are not physically, emotionally, or socially ready for the structure of a team! The Future Stars Program helps introduce the fundamental soccer skills and the basics of being apart of a team- all in a 45 minute session! The way the program is structured, it can either be an opportunity for young players to gather the skills needed to succeed for when they are ready to join the recreational or competitive side of Florida Elite or a great supplemental program for young recreational players who want to play more often their their teams practice!
