Recreational Development Academy “RDA” is a soccer program designed to bridge the gap between the Recreational and Competitive programs. The RDA program will give your child that higher level you are looking for with a set schedule and local games, providing the convenience of a recreational program but the competition of competitive soccer.
RDA features a set schedule throughout the season. RDA will have two training sessions a week and 8-10 games per season. These games will be held on some Friday evenings or Saturday mornings. Teams will be formed by our professional staff after an evaluation period and players will be divided into smaller teams where games will be played 7v7 or 9v9. Teams will get the chance to participate in 2 Florida Elite competitive tournaments (at an additional fee).
There are Four Training Locations to choose from: Veterans Park, Chuck Rogers Park, Earl Johnson Park, and Oakleaf Park.

• RDA is for players born between 2012 - 2015
• Your player needs to have previous soccer experience and a general understanding of game play and rules.
Recreational Development Academy (RDA) - Overview
• RDA is a 10 month program. (August - May)
• RDA is for players born between 2012 - 2015.
• The cost of the program will be $795 for the full season. Payment plans available. This does not include the uniform cost. Uniform cost for RDA is
• Uniforms are ordered online and delivered either directly to you or to the WeGotSoccer Jacksonville store.
• Once the teams are finalized, we will send out the uniform number assignments for you to go ahead an order your uniform
• Do NOT order your uniform until we have notified you
• Teams will be selected during an evaluation process at the start of training to ensure balanced teams and the most optimal playing experience. Team rosters may be adjusted throughout the season to create a more competitive balance. This is at the discretion of the Program Director
• All RDA players will be registered in a National affiliation league structure and will be required to prove proof of birth.
Costs
• Program registration: $795

• Tournament fees if team(s) are attending any of the two Florida Elite tournaments that are offered to RDA teams.
Coaches and Training
• All teams in RDA will be coached by one of our professional coaches.
• The professional coach will run all training sessions and coach games.
• Training will be twice a week (Mondays and Thursday at Veterans and Chuck Rogers Park) and (Tuesday and Thursday at Earl Johnson Park (Field 2) and Oakleaf Park) for one hour- on a fixed schedule.
Oakleaf, Chuck, and Earl Johnson teams will play all games at a neutral site for the 2023-2024 year which will be at Chuck Rogers park.
Veterans Park teams will play all games at Veterans Park or Chuck Rogers Park.
League, Team building and Gameplay
• The RDA League will consist of two 8-10 game seasons in the Fall and Spring
• RDA will be an in-house league comprised of Florida Elite RDA teams
• Games will be played on some Friday evenings or Saturday mornings between 8-10 am.
• Team rosters may be adjusted throughout the season to create a more competitive balance. This is at the discretion of the Program Director.
Tournaments
• RDA teams may participate in two Florida Elite Competitive Tournaments during the year. There will be additional fees if your child's team participates. Participation in a Florida Elite Tournament will be determined by the Program Director and will also depend on Division availability.
