Premier Soccer Academy Winter Camps will bring individual players together to combine for a highly unique and competitive training environment. The Winter Camps will provide for a very exclusive soccer training environment focusing on Coerver based training techniques. The training environment is individually focused and concentrating on mastery of the ball and superior ball handling skills under pressure and developing fundamentally sound shooting and finishing techniques.

Training Mission, Goals and Expectations - Our training mission is to encourage and challenge players in every session on the pitch.  We want to maximize their potential and training session experience.  However, these training sessions are for higher-level players and the physical and mental expectations for performance will be elevated. Players will be expected to perform at the highest-level in every session and to be fully engaged.

The sessions will be directed by Kurt Gordon, director of The St. James / FC Virginia’s HS Travel South, Rec, and Futsal Soccer Programs. Kurt has managed and directed highly successful training camps for 15+ years. The staff has over 60 years of combined soccer experience and will provide a very intensive training environment for individual and team development.

Our staff at the Premier Training Sessions is extremely dedicated to making your child’s enrollment a favorably memorable experience on and off the pitch. The session experience at this venue should be a special blend of on the pitch quality player development and a new environment to help unlock their potential. The unique blend for our Premier Training Sessions will be unparalleled to typical training experiences.

Camp #1: Technical Skills / Tools for the Tool Chest
Tools for the Tool Chest sessions are heavily focused on mastery of the ball, mixed with no pressure and under pressure environments, mainly individually focused. All other concepts of the game on the pitch significantly improve as the player becomes more comfortable with mastery of ball at foot. As each player's confidence with ball at foot improves, their head is up and they can more consistently gain space and time, which then directly impacts their ability to exploit the pitch through dribbling, passing, and shooting.

Mastery of the ball is a major step to unlocking the game on the pitch! 

Camp #2: Shooting and Finishing
Shooting and Finishing Sessions though attacking play are mainly concentrated on individual 1 v 1, 2 v 1, 1 v 2 situations. The key is using technical skills in going to goal situations as well as passing defenders to advance the ball forward on the pitch. Building confidence in these senarios is key to our Shooting and Finishing course.

Camp #3: Combo Session - Technical Skills plus Shooting and Finishing
Combining our Tools for the Tool Chest sessions and our Shooting and Finishing Sessions is a great combination course for every player's development. Receive a 10% discount when signing up for the Combo Session.

Camp #4: Goalkeeping
Soccer goalkeeper training session are geared towards youth and advanced keepers. Learn about goal kicks, catching, footwork, angles, proper diving techniques, attacking crosses, leadership from the back and mental preparation.


CAMP EQUIPMENT LIST
Welcome to Premier Soccer Winter Camps. In preparation for attending our Winter Camps, we require campers to have the following items for each training session: Indoor Soccer Shoes (no cleats), Shin Guards (must be worn in all sessions), properly inflated Soccer Ball (bring a futsal ball if you have one), Water Bottle for hydration.

Premier Soccer Academy provides access for student athletes to high end training and coaching environments that assists in positioning players to excel on and of the pitch. Premier Soccer Academy additionally provides value added services through it's College Recruiting and Life Coaching Services to help guide and assist youth athletes to achieve their goals in the classroom, on the pitch, and into the workforce.
