Children born from 2005-2008

HS Coed (16U-19U) Program Overview
Teams are formed by the school district.  In the event that a district does not have enough players, we will work to combine districts to form a solid team.

HS Coed (18-19U) - 18+ "Adult Athlete" Additional Information
Starting in 2021 season year, ALL participants (Players, staff, and volunteers) 18 years of age or older, that are registered under the United States Soccer Federation - the governing body of Soccer in the United States - must complete the NCYSA Risk Management and SafeSport programs. These programs are designed to create a safe environment for all athletes, coaches, and staff in ALL of youth sports, not just soccer.
Each player, coach, and volunteer's Risk Management and SafeSport information for ABYSA and HFC must be processed by North Carolina Youth Soccer Association (NCYSA - our local governing body)  before that individual can participate with any team or league. Please go to the Risk Management Information and Resource page link below for more detailed information.

ABYSA Sportsmanship Award

ABYSA and ABC Pediatrics of Asheville are proud of our ongoing partnership with the SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD PROGRAM.

ABC Pediatrics of Asheville and ABYSA, recognize that the life lessons learned from being part of a sports team are just as important as the physical activity and exercise that sport provides. We are grateful to ABC Pediatrics for helping us make learning about sportsmanship a core value of our recreation program and providing a format for coaches and parents to help our children learn these important lessons. We hope you will join us in using this program as a teaching tool.
