RASA's Schaumburg Adult Soccer Club is a coed recreational adult soccer program.

Men must be at least 28 years of age.

Women must be at least 23 years of age.

RASA reserves the right to modify age or gender restrictions or parameters.

No standings are kept and players participate for the enjoyment of the game.

TEAMS:

Last session included 18 teams. Players may join individually as a waitlist player, and be may be allocated to an existing team or to a new team if one can be formed. Waitlist Players will be placed on teams with less than 6 players of that particular gender, not including the goalkeeper. There is no guarantee that a waitlist player can be placed.

Registered teams with an insufficient number of registered players can be removed by RASA before the start of the current season. Team captains should make sure they have enough commitments before having players register.

REGISTRATION is on-going and all Player Online Registration and Fees must be submitted prior to playing the first game.

All players will need to complete the RASA/USASA on-line registration form and waiver statement. 

Players should have a uniform jersey of the appropriate team color. No jewelry. Shin guards are mandatory. 

SPECIAL RULES:

Games are played within a one hour time slot and must start at the scheduled time.

Games are 9 v 9 (goal keeper plus 4 men and 4 women on the field at one time).

No slide tackling is permitted.

All Penalty Kicks must be taken by a woman who is not borrowed.

Substitutions can only occur when the ball has gone out of bounds, on any dead ball, or injury.  Players must be waived on by the referee.  NO SUBSTITUTIONS ON THE FLY.

BORROWED PLAYERS ALLOWED FROM WITHIN THE LEAGUE ONLY:

Borrowed players are permissible if less than 2 subs of a particular gender are available. 

If late arriving players join the game, "borrowed" players must leave the game.

Borrowed players (male or female) can only score when the team they are playing for is losing.  

Once the game is tied or the team they are playing for is winning, the borrowed player cannot score.

If a team is short two female players, one male player may be added to substitute for the two missing female players if the score is tied or the shorthanded team is trailing. Additional male player must leave the field if his team gains the advantage in scoring.

GOAL DIFFERENTIAL RULE: 

3 goals - losing team may add 1 player. 

4+ goals - losing team may add 2nd player.

NO GUEST PLAYERS other than currently registered "Borrowed" players from within our league.

RASA reserves the right to remove any player or team from the league for inappropriate conduct or malicious play.  

Games are to be fun, friendly, and competitive.
