JP Strachan, Interim DOC and Academy Director

Jon-Paul Strachan is a soccer enthusiast who grew up playing soccer (football) in Scotland and continued to play on several Men’s Open teams with TASL when he moved to NC here in the late 90’s. It was around that time that he first got involved on the coaching side of the game. From 1999 to 2006 he coached with CASL, winning the State Cup in 2001 (Challenge), and his teams were beaten finalists and also made 3 other appearances in the final four during that time. He has been coaching locally for the past six years at many different levels.  He currently holds the National Youth License, as well as the USSF “D” license.
