Applicant Instructions

AFDC Grants provides grants to help youth and college ultimate athletes participate in ultimate opportunities. This support helps players with the cost of attending fitness and skills clinics and joining leagues or teams. Grants will be paid directly to the camp, league or team of each recipient’s choice and will be applied to admission/membership/travel fees.

Guidelines and eligibility

• Must be a Georgia resident or attending a Georgia school or university
• Must use grant for an approved camp, league or team activity

Example of camps/leagues/events:

• Youth Elite Ultimate (YEU) practice and NC travel programs
• YCC teams
• Fitness and skills clinics and camps
• Middle School, High School or College season costs
• AFDC leagues
• City of Atlanta after school programs

Criteria to be considered

• Financial need
• Passion for ultimate / service to community
• Talent and potential
