ID Sessions
- Gateway Rush will be holding ID Sessions.
- These are open to any player interested in Gateway Rush.

Tryouts
- Tryout dates will be posted soon. PLEASE VISIT OUR WEBSITE AND SOCIAL MEDIA PAGES REGULARLY FOR UPDATES.
- All tryouts will be held at Reiniger Memorial Soccer Park (RMSP).
- Facility information can be found here.
- All tryout participants must register for tryouts by clicking the Register button in the upper right hand corner located at http://www.gatewayrush.com.
- Complete the registration process by filling out all application information.
Costs of Club Soccer
- Gateway Rush is committed to keeping youth club soccer affordable.
- Gateway Rush offers opportunities for individuals and teams to reduce fees by participating in fundraisers.
Club Fees
- Gateway Rush’s Board of Directors set club fees before each season. Club fee information for the each season will be available before tryouts begin.
- Payment Plans are available.
- Club Fees can be used for the following (this is not an all-inclusive list):
- Field use
- Club Training
- Winter Club Training
- Team Training
- Club Staff
- Club administration for the website, event registration, rosters & required forms, and other administrative duties
Team Fees
- Individual teams need to assess fees to cover the following:
- eague fees
- Tournament entry fees
- Indoor
- Any other charges for which the team is responsible.
- Team coaches manage their teams’ budgets.
- Team fees will vary by team
Level of Commitment
- Length of Season
- The United States Youth Soccer Association rules set the season year from August 1 through July 31 of the following year.
Training Months
- Fall training typically begins in August and ends mid-November.
- From November to early February, teams often participate in less-intensive activities like Futsal or indoor soccer with limited training sessions.
- Spring Training typically begins in February and ends mid-May.
Training Frequency
- Teams U15 and older typically train 2-3 times per week.
- Younger teams will practice twice per week.
- Youth Training session range from an hour to an hour and a half depending on age.
Travel
- Gateway Rush youth teams (u8+) typically play in the St. Louis Youth Soccer Association (SLYSA).
- SLYSA hosts league games at many different complexes throughout the greater St. Louis region.
- Games will be played in both Illinois and Missouri.
Tournaments
- Gateway Rush youth teams (u9+) vary on how many tournaments they will participate in.
- Most teams have participated in 1-3 tournaments in the fall and 1 or 2 in the spring.
- Most (u10+) teams will travel (will require hotel stay) to tournaments typically 1-2 times a year.
- The older teams may require more out-of-town travel.
