Practice & Game Information – Basketball 2017
About Our Cheer Group:
For ages 5 to 12 years old (age as of September 1stt).
Practices start in early to mid-November (one or two days a week on tbd).
Our regular season basketball games will begin the first weekend of December and run until mid to late February. Games will be typically be played on Saturdays (and Sundays).
Our cheer teams are non-competitive and we focus on introducing kids to the fundamentals and skills needed for the sport of cheer. Plus the girls are as cute as can be in our cheer uniforms.
There will be different levels of cheer taught, sideline cheers, half-time routines, and minor tumbling.
Cost:
$140 for first year cheerleaders and $75 for returning cheer leaders w/ uniform.
The uniform includes · Skirt, Shell, Bloomers, Socks, Hair Bow and Pom Poms.

In-Person in the Lobby of the Big Gym at Fern Creek High School on Saturday October 7th, 14th, and 21st (9am-12noon) or Saturday October 28th (10am-1pm) at the Dicks Sporting Goods Store on Hurstbourne Parkway.

Fern Creek Optimist Club and FCO Sports rely on Volunteers to make our programs work. We are always interested in talking to potential volunteers to fill roles as coaches, team parents, registrars, etc... for our programs.
