Basketball season is upon us and now is the time to register! Last year we had 500 players, and anticipate even more this year. The league is available for players 3-18 years old. The eligibility age is determined based on the player’s age as of 12/31/2017.
Note: Players who play for school teams in 8th grade or below can participate in this league.
Separate co-ed divisions for 3/4, 5/6 & 7/8 year olds; boys’ divisions for 9/10, 11/12, 13/14 & 15-18 year olds and girls’ divisions for 8-10 & 11-13 year olds depending on the number of players who sign up to play. All players who sign up will be placed on a team.

IN PERSON - Fern Creek High School lobby of the Big Gym on Saturday, October 7th, 14th, 21st (9:00AM–noon) or Saturday, October 28th @ Dick’s Sporting Goods on Hurstbourne Lane (10:00 AM–1:00 PM).
EVALUATIONS / TRYOUTS - are held at Fern Creek High School on Sunday, October 29th for all players 7-18 years old. Check-in at the tables in Big Gym for further instructions. Tryout times are as follows:

GAMES - are played at Fern Creek High School on Saturdays and Sundays starting the first week of December. No games scheduled for December 23, 24, 30 or 31st. We plan to have a 10-game season that will conclude mid-February.
3-6 year old's do not tryout and will be placed on a team and contacted by a coach. They will practice before each of their scheduled games. A pizza party, trophy presentation and hot shot competition will be held at end of season.
Practices for 7-18 year olds will be held at various gyms in the Fern Creek area. Each team will have a one-hour practice on a weekday evening. There may be some weekends where a team plays more than one game.
FEES: Registration fee for 7-18 year olds is $125 per player; and fee for 3/4 & 5/6 year olds is $90 per player
NOTE: If more than 2 siblings in a family participate, the cost for the 3rd player is ½ price
COACHES/ASSISTANT COACHES: If you are interested in volunteering to be a coach or assistant, please mark the appropriate section on the registration form.
SPONSORS: We need one (1) company sponsorship for the back of the shirts for each team. The cost to sponsor a team is $100. If a player finds or provides a sponsor for his/her team, then his/her registration fee is only $90.00 (7-18 year olds) and only $60 (3/4 & 5/6 year olds). The sponsor’s check must accompany the player’s payment/registration form.
