Region 106 Scholarship Information

Scholarship award notifications will be sent out no later than July 6, 2015
There are two ways to be eligible for a scholarship:
- Scholarships will be awarded based on need and fund availability.
- Military families automatically qualify for scholarships as long as the requirements are met and funds are available.
- Scholarships will only cover a portion of the registration fee
- Online player registration forms must be completed prior to applying for the scholarship- bring two copies to the walk-up registration
- Each player must pay $50.00 towards the registration price at the time of application. The scholarship will cover the balance.
- There is a maximum of two scholarships per family.
- Scholarship applications will be available at walk-up registrations only.
- You must apply in person at registration and provide the proof requested
- For need based scholarship: we need to see your 2014 tax returns
- For military family scholarships: we need proof of military service of a parent/guardian.
- Applicants who are not awarded a scholarship will have the option to receive a refund for the $50.00 they paid at time of application or to pay the remaining $50.00 by July 15, 2015. If you pay the balance after July 15th, you will have to pay the then current registration price of $150.00 per player.
