Tuesday April 1 2025:

Almo Electrical Padres 11 Semper Secure Mets 3
The Padres' Dillon Holmes had himself a night going 2-2 with a walk, double, and a home run. He also pitched 2 stellar innings. Carter Fitzgerald also went 2-2 with a walk and scored 3 times. Alex Severino went 3-3 for the Mets with a HR in an outstanding performance at the plate

Launch Trampoline Cubs 8 Bozzuffi Karate Yankees 2
Yode Babajida and Max Delella each smacked 2 hits and crossed home plate twice, leading the Cubs to victory over the Yankees. Christian Zizelman pitched a strong 5th inning to lock in the win. Vincent Petruzzelli had a standout game for the Yankees.

Adelphia Mariners 5 Re/Max Preferred Astros 2
The Mariners edged out the Astros, 5-2, on Tuesday night. Cameron Robinson led the way with 2 hits and 2 runs scored, striking out 6 batters on the mound. Liam Adovas added 2 hits and a run, while Finn Beach legged out a key homer to seal the win. For the Astros, Ryan Skolnick struck out 6 batters and scored a run, while Derek Ciconte had a knock and made several nice plays in the field.

Thursday April 3 2025:

Deptford Democrat Club Astros 8 Bulls Eye Remodeling Yankees 1
The Astros were led by Jack Crawford who was 3-3 with a huge triple to left field. Derek Ciconte, Ryan Skolnick, and Conner Ciconte all had extra base hits. Neil Grogan had the defensive play of the game with an outstanding catch at 2nd base, which led to a double play. The Yankees were led by Kevin White, who singled to left, and Kam Trewin, who pitched 2 strong innings.

Sport Clips Cubs 10 Mighty Dog Roofing Mets 5
For the Cubs, Matthew Touw had a big hit with a run scored and Nick Preziosa had a hit and scored a run. The Mets were led by Luke Peggs, who was 2-2 with a home run.

Saturday April 5 2025:

Semper Secure Mets 13 Bozzuffi Karate Yankees 3
Luke Peggs went 3-3 with a home run and Ryan Ekimoglou was also 3-3 and scored 3 runs in leading the Mets to victory. The Yankees were led by Nick DiVario, who was 2 for 2 with a run scored.

Adelphia Mariners 8 Launch Trampoline Cubs 2
Cameron Robinson had 2 doubles and an RBI to lead the Mariners offense. Liam Adovas had 2 hits and 2 runs scored, while striking out 5 in 2 innings on the mound. Josiah Garcia contributed to the win by playing excellent defense in the outfield, preventing 2 runs from scoring. For the Cubs, Lucas Crosby collected his first career hit, and Dawson Hunt had what may end up being the web gem of the year at third base.

The Astros edged out the Padres in a come-from-behind victory, as Ryan Skolnick shut out the Friars over 2 innings, adding a 3-run homer earlier in the game. The Astros game-winning rally was ignited by singles from Isabella Best and Liam Pszwaro. The Padres built their early lead around great defense and 2 singles from Ayden Smith

Tuesday April 8 2025:

M&D Landscaping Mariners 10 Semper Secure Mets 1
Braving the cold, the Mariners took down the Mets, 10-1, behind Liam Adovas and Finn Beach, who combined for 6 hits and 3 RBI at the plate, including 3 extra-base hits. Beach also played stalwart defense behind the plate. Adrian Williams was a catalyst for the offense, notching his first 2 career hits, driving in a run as well. For the Mets, Giacomo Musallam tripled for his first career hit.

Thursday April 10 2025:

Re/Max Preferred Astros 7 Mighty Dog Roofing Mets 1
The Astros were led by Jack Crawford who was 3-3 with 3 runs scored. He also closed out the game on the mound. Joseph Santana was 2 for 2 to help spark the Astros offense. The Mets were led by Peter Skronski, who was 2-2 with a run scored.

Adelphia's Mariners 5 Bulls Eye Remodeling Yankees 0
The Mariners outlasted the Yankees, 5-0, in a defensive battle Thursday night. The Mariners were paced by Lukas Kienholz, who ripped 2 singles and drove in a run. Landon Rodgers had a key 2-out, 2-run single, and Aidan Elfstrom legged out his first 2 career hits, showing great hustle and resolve. The Yankees' Lawrence Devage knocked through his first career hit and played a solid defensive game.

The Cubs walked it off in the bottom of the 6th inning, edging out the Padres in a thrilling slugfest. The Cubs charge was led by the dynamic trio of Yodey Babajide (scored the game-winning run), Joseph Dellaratta, and rookie Alex Rhodes, who each went 3 for 3 at the plate with 3 runs scored. Dillon Holmes paced the Padres offense, going 2 for 2 with a walk and 3 runs scored.

Tuesday April 15 2025:

M&D Landscaping Mariners 6 Deptford Democrat Club Astros 5
Finn Beach continued his excellent 2-way play, going 2 for 2 with a triple and 3 runs batted in, while making a great heads up play behind the plate to end the game. Rookies Bryce McCone and Chase Coleman each tallied their first career hits, and Thiago Miller-Castro struck out 4 Astros in 1.1 strong innings pitched. The Astros comeback fell just short, led by Daven Burt, who stroked an RBI single, and Ryan Skolnick, who had 3 hits including an RBI triple, and 3 K's on the mound. Iron-man of the day mention goes to Connor Ciconte, who exhibited great physical and mental toughness for the Astros

Sport Clips Cubs 12 Bozzuffi Karate Yankees 8
The Cubs triumphed over the Yankees in what ended up being a close game. Calvin Smith and Leo Giorala led the Cubs offensively, racking up 3 hits and 2 RBI apiece. Christian Zizelman slugged a home run to add to the Cubs attack. The Yankees valiant late-inning comeback fell just short, with clutch hits by Kevin White, Kam Trewin, and Travis Hill.

Sims Metal Management Padres 5 Semper Secure Mets 1
In what was a tight defensive game, Dillon Holmes stood out offensively, going 2 for 2 with a walk and 2 runs scored. Johnny Hasko collected 2 hits as well for the Padres. For the Mets, rookie Mason Green singled up the middle for his first career knock.

Thursday April 17 2025

M&D Landscaping Mariners 11 Almo Electrical Padres 9
In a game that took 8 innings to complete, the Mariners outlasted the Padres in a very tight matchup. Cameron Robinson led the way on offense, slugging 4 hits in the game, including a triple, homer, and 3 runs batted in. Lukas Kienholz had 2 hits and 3 runs scored, while Thiago Miller-Castro drove in 4 runs with 2 hits, including a triple and a home run. On the mound, Miller-Castro and Robinson led the way, combining to allow just 2 runs in 4 innings, striking out 10 batters along the way. For the Padres, Dillon Holmes pitched 4 innings, struck out 9 Mariner hitters while also collecting 3 hits at the plate. Carter Fitzgerald also had 3 hits, while Asher Brady doubled twice out of the leadoff spot.

The Cubs bested the Mets on a beautiful night for baseball. Adriana Gomez shined for the Cubs, securing her first career hit, while Max Delella went 2 for 2 with 2 singles. Christian Zizelman provided the thump with 2 home runs in the win. The Mets kept competitive, with Luke Peggs, Nathan Devault-Sayles, and Pete Skronski all contributing base hits.

Re/Max Preferred Astros 8 Bulls Eye Remodeling Yankees 1
Jack Crawford led the way for the Astros, going 3 for 3, including a clutch triple to left field. Ryan Skolnick pitched in with a 3-run home run. Kam Trewin stroked a two-bagger to left field to get the Yankees on the board.

In a game that featured 5 lead changes, the Cubs handed the Mariners their first loss of the season. Calvin Smith tripled and had 2 hits and 2 runs scored. Mason Klecko slugged a triple, and Christian Zizelman contributed 2 hits, 2 runs, and 3 strikeouts in a perfect inning on the mound. For the Mariners, Cameron Robinson homered twice, while Liam Adovas added a home run and Thiago Miller-Castro had an immaculate inning on the mound (3 batters faced, 9 pitches, 9 strikes).

In an slugfest, the Cubs bested the Astros in a hotly-contested game. Yode Babajida, Christian Zizelman, and Joe Dellaratta all went 3 for 3 to lead the Cubs assault. Brayden Fackleman made a phenomenal catch on a liner to shortstop, and Jack Crawford was 3 for 3 with 3 runs scored to pace the Astros.

Corey Halter led the way to victory for the Padres, as he went 2 for 3 at the plate with a pair of two-baggers, while striking out 3 on the mound. Ayden Smith also went 3 for 3, scoring 3 times. Maverick Myers stood out on both sides of the ball for the Yankees, slicing a solid single up the middle and making several nice plays on defense.

Ryan Skolnick and Jack Crawford had career days at the plate to lead the Astros to the win. Skolnick slugged 3 inside-the-park home runs, and Crawford was an unreal 5 for 5 at the dish, smoking 2 doubles in the process. Derek Ciconte pitched well in the 5th inning, closing out the W for the Astros. For the Mets, Luke Peggs had 2 hits on the day.

M&D Landscaping Mariners 9 Bulls Eye Remodeling Yankees 2
Adrian Williams had himself a great night at the plate, going 2 for 2 with his first career home run, scoring twice. Bryce McCone doubled and walked, and Mighty Maeve Lawrence toughed out a key walk late in the game, showing great hustle and awareness, scoring a run in the process.

The Cubs centered their win around good defense, but were led at the plate by Nick Preziosa, who drove in a run with a key single, and Mason Klecko/Max Dilella, who were both 2 for 2 in the game. Nathan Neil and Vinny Petruzzelli both had hits in the loss.

The Astros slugged 21 hits on their way to an impressive win. Ryan Skolnick, Jack Crawford, and Derek Ciconte each had 4 hits apiece, while Connor Ciconte added 3 more. Skolnick also struck out the side in each of his 2 innings pitched, while Crawford displayed great defense at shortstop all game. For the Mariners, Karson Tran hit a laser-shot single for his first career hit. Finn Beach tripled and drove in a run, while Thiago Miller-Castro hit a 2-run homer in the Mariner's 4-run 4th inning.

Thiago Miller-Castro led the M's to their 8th win of the year, smacking 2 singles while striking out 6 batters in 2 innings on the mound. Lukas Kienholz and Chase Coleman combined for 4 hits and reached base 5 times. Charlie Palen had a key single and scored a run, while driving in a run with an RBI groundout in another at-bat. For the Mets, Pete Skronski smacked two singles and got on base all 3 trips to the plate, and Luke Peggs tripled, doubled, and reached base safely in all 3 of his plate appearances.

The Mariners got big contributions from their 6, 7, and 8 hitters in this game. Landon Rodgers led the way with 2 hits, including a key 2-out RBI single in the first inning that set the tone for the game. Lukas Kienholz 2 hits and a run scored, while rookie Chase Coleman smoked an RBI single of his own. The Padres were led offensively by Carter Fitzgerald, who tripled twice and drove in a run. Dillon Holmes doubled twice and drove in 2 to help keep the game competitive.

Matty Touw, Lucas Crosby, and Nico Gomez all had key hits in this very important game. With the win, the Cubs secured the top seed in the Minor Division and homefield advantage throughout the playoffs. Christian Zizelman came through in the clutch, with a dagger 3-run inside-the-park home run that gave the Cubs a 4-run lead. He also struck out 3 batters to close the game out on the mound. For the Mariners, Adrian Williams was 2 for 2 with an RBI and a run scored to help keep the game close. Liam Adovas also struck out 6 Cubs on the mound for the Mariners.

Thiago Miller-Castro served as the tone-setter in this game, legging out an inside-the-park home run in the top of the first inning for the Mariners. For the game he went 3 for 3 with a triple, homer, and 3 runs scored. Cameron Robinson struck out 6 Mets to close out the game and went 2 for 3 at the dish with 2 RBI. Landon Rodgers had 2 hits and 2 runs batted in, while Bryce McCone and Karson Tran combined for 3 hits and 2 RBI. For the Mets, Pete Skronski had 2 hits and was on base 3 times, while Jameson Oden and Scarlett Shinn each contributed a single apiece. With the win, the Mariners clinched the 2-seed and first round bye.

Mighty Maeve Lawrence set the tone for the Mariners' offensive explosion, leading off the top of the first inning with a laser line drive single. She would finish the game 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored. 12 Mariners had at least 1 hit in the game, including Landon Rodgers (2 hits and 3 runs scored). Karson Tran, Josiah Garcia, and Aidan Elfstrom combined to go 6 for 6 in the game with 3 runs scored. Tran added a triple and 3 RBI. Finn Beach also pitched a solid inning for the Mariners. Kameron Trewin had 3 hits for the Yanks, including 2 doubles, and Travis Hill legged out a pair of infield singles, scoring twice.

Re/Max Preferred Astros 12 Bozzuffi Karate Yankees 1

In Game 1, the Astros defeated the Yankees to take the lead in their best-of-3 first-round series. The Astros were led offensively by Derek Ciconte, who continued his torrid hitting with a 3 hit performance, including a bases-clearing double, driving in 5 runs in the game. Jack Crawford was also 3 for 3 and played excellent defense at shortstop, while Connor Ciconte iced the game with late-inning RBI triple. The Yankees played ferociously and were led by Kameron Trewin, who doubled twice in the game. Kevin White also helped keep the game close in the early innings with a diving catch at shortstop. The two teams play again on Wednesday May 21.

The Astros beat the Yankees in Game 2 of their best-of-3 series to advance to the Minor Division semi-finals. Derek Ciconte stayed hot by going 3 for 3 with a double and 3 runs batted in. Jack Crawford also had 3 hits and recorded an unheard of 6 assists at shortstop, helping to derail the Yankees rallies. Daven Burt and Connor Ciconte chipped in with 2 hits apiece, and Ryan Skolnick homered to lead the Astros. Kevin White led the Yankees with 2 hits, as the Yankees fought hard and did not give up until the final out. The 3-seed Astros move on to face the second-seeded Mariners in the next round, a rematch of last year's Minor Division Quarterfinals

The Astros edged out the Mariners in a thrilling contest, scoring 2 runs in the top of the 6th inning to take the lead in what was a back and forth game. Catcher Connor Ciconte started the 6th inning rally with a 1-out double, advancing to 3rd on a Brayden Fackelman infield single, and scoring on another infield single by Joseph Santana. Ciconte had 3 hits on the day, including 2 doubles, 2 RBI, and 3 runs scored. Fackelman contributed 3 infield singles, driving in 3 runs and scoring 2 others. Ryan Skolnick shut the door with 2 scoreless innings on the mound, adding 2 hits and a triple at the plate.

The Mariners were led by Finn Beach and Landon Rodgers, who had 2 hits and 3 RBI apiece, and Thiago Miller-Castro, who doubled twice and scored twice.

Deptford Democrat Club Astros 11 M&D Landscaping Mariners 0
The Astros defeated the Mariners in Game 2 to advance to the Minor Division finals against the Cubs. The Astros played excellent defense, committing no errors in the game. They were led offensively by Jack Crawford, Daven Burt, Derek Ciconte, Ryan Skolnick, and Connor Ciconte, who all had 2 hits and 2 runs scored apiece. Crawford and Derek Ciconte pitched well in the 5th and 6th innings to slam the door shut on the Mariners, who threatened to score in 4 of the 6 innings but couldn't come up with a big hit at the right time.

Liam Adovas had 2 hits for the Mariners, and Finn Beach tripled in the 3rd to pace the Mariner offense. Cameron Robinson pitched a 1-2-3 5th inning to give the Mariners a chance in the final frame.

The Mariners end the season on a sour note but had a great year, going 12-3 in 2025 only a year after going 5-9 in 2024. They look to contend again in 2026.

Congrats to the Astros, who advance to the Finals to face the top-seeded Cubs in what promises to be a highly-competitive series.
