                                                                    Deptford Little League Minors 2024 Highlights

4/6:
Launch Trampoline Cubs  5 Compass Self Storage Nationals 2
Rylen Battaglia smashed a double and Derek Depanicis had 2 hits to lead the Cubs.  Ramey had a multi-hit game for the Nationals.
Patient First Padres 5 Deptford Democrat Club Astros 2
For the Padres, Dillon Homes was 2-3 with 2 runs scored out the the lead off position and Drew Pratt was 1-3 with a double and 2 shutout innings on the mound.  For the Astros, catcher Sal Guddo was 1-2 at the plate only outdone by his outstanding play on the field.
Sports Clips Tigers 10 Bozzuffi Karate Yankees 5
Brayden Raudenbush was 2-3 at the plate with a double and triple and was a brick wall behind the plate.  Cole Yoachum had a 3 run HR and pitched a solid game in leading the Tigers.  For the Yankees, Shawn Mathis was 3-3 at the plate with a 2 run double.

4/7:
Pet Check Urgent Care Yankees  7 Brightview Senior Living Nationals  5
Gianni McCone went 3-4 with a lead off double and 2 RBI and Michael McCone was 4-4 with a double, 3 singles, and 3 runs in leading the Yankees.  For the Nationals, Patrick Cosgrove had 2 hits and scored a run and Max Ramey had 2 RBI and 5 strikeouts on the mound.

4/9:
Re/Max Preferred Astros  10 Adelphia Mariners  9
Hunter Cotte of the Mariners tied the game with a 3 run double in the top of the sixth inning.  The Astros then pulled out the win with the help of Jaxson Guerra and Derek Ciconte going 2-2 with a pair of RBIs each.  Also, Barry Giovenetti played great defense for the Astros.
Bozzuffi Karate Yankees 6 D&W Jacob Catering Cubs 1
Lincoln Kling pitched a 5 inning shutout and Gianni McCone went 3-4 with a leadoff douuble and 2 runs scored in leading the Yankees.  For the Cubs, Derek Depanicis had a leadoff single and a double in the 3rd inning.

4/10:
Deptford Democrat Club Astros  8 Semper Secure Mets  3
The Astros were led by Sal Guddo who was 3-3 and Jack Crawford who was 2-3 with a double.  Also, Connor Ciconte, Jaxson Guerra, and Travis Hill all went 2-3 on the day.  For the Mets, Max DeLella went 2-3 with a run scored.  The web gem of the game went to Cooper Burke of the Mets for his amazing play at first base.

4/11:
Re/Max Preferred Astros  4 Launch Trampoline Cubs  2
The Astros offense was led by Jaxson Guerra who had a double and an RBI.  Connor Ciconte was 2-3 and SS Jack Crawford made 2 excellent catches.  For the Cubs, Alex Willis and Christian Zizelmann each had a hit and a run scored.
MacAluso Roofing Tigers  5 Compass Self Storage Nationals  0
Mathew C was a double shy of hitting for the cycle as he went 3-4 at the plate.  Lincoln C got his first hit of the season with a line drive down the first base line to lead the Tigers.  For the Nationals, Kameron had 2 hits on the evening and Kensley had an amazing play at 2nd base.
Pet Check Urgent Care Yankees  6 M&D Landscaping Mariners  5
Michael McCone hit a triple to knock in the first 2 runs and Karanvir Sharma hit a home run in leading the Yankees to victory.  For the Mariners, Elijah Greenblatt had 2 hits and 2 runs scored.

4/12:
Brightview Senior Living Nationals  3 Sims Metal Padres  1
For the Nationals, Patrick went 2-3 with a double and only let 2 balls by him as catcher.  Ryan added a home run and had 3 strikeouts on the mound.  For the Padres, Sam went 2-3 and Sunny went 3-3 with a double.

4/16:
Adelphia Mariners  5 Compass Self Storage Nationals  2
Finn Beach led the way for the Mariners, driving in 2 runs and making 2 nice plays on defense.  Jake Nichols also drove in a run and scored the eventual game-winning run.  For the Nationals, Max Ramey led the way, collecting 2 hits while striking out the side in 1 scoreless inning on the mound.

4/18:
Brightview Senior Living Nationals  2 Deptford Democrat Club Astros  1
The Nationals were led by Kameron Trewin who went 2-4 including a walk off single.  Ryan Skolnick also went 3-4 with an inside the park home run.  Jaxson Guerra had an inside the park home run and Aiden Recinos was 1-3 with his first hit for the Astros.
Patient First Padres  6 D&W Jacob Catering Cubs  1
For the Padres, Carter Fitzgerald had his first hit of the season with an RBI and a run scored.  Drew Pratt had a double and closed the game on the mound.  For the Cubs, Zachary had a key hit and also a good night on the mound.

4/19:
Sims Metal Padres  4 M&D Landscaping Mariners  3
Bryce Green had 3 hits, scored a run and had a good night on the mound.  Ayden Smith got his first hit of the season and Sunny Yung contributed big hits and a shut-out inning on the mound.
Bozzuffi Karate Yankees  10 Re/Max Preferred Astros  3
The Yankees were led by Shawn Mathis who went 2-3 with 2 RBI and pitched a shutdown 6th inning.  Also, Gianni McCone went 3-3 with 3 runs scored.  For the Astros, Jaxson Guerra went 1-2 with an RBI double.

4/20:
Petcheck Urgent Care Yankees  5 R&R Express Mets  0
For the Yankees, Lincoln Kling went 2-3 with a double and pitched 2 shutout innings.  Michael McCone went 3-3 with 2 singles and a double.  For the Mets, John Lewis went 1-2 with a hard hit single up the middle.

4/23:
Compass Self Storage Nationals  16 Semper Secure Mets  10
For the Nationals, Kevin White went 3-4 and Francesco Caravello went 3-4 with 2 home runs.  Ezra Jones was 2-2 with a HR and a single and Brayden Tucker was 3-3 with a single, double, and HR to lead the Mets.
Launch Trampoline Cubs  10 Adelphia Mariners  8
The Cubs clinched a victory with standout performances from Gio Mirra and Alex Severino, each batting 2-3.  The Mariners were led by Bobby Jack, who was 2-2 with a run scored and a scoreless inning on the mound striking out two.  A defensive highlight was provided by the Cubs' Rylan Battaglia with a remarkable outfield assist showcasing a rocket throw to second base.
Bozzuffi Karate Yankees  9 Patient First Padres  8
The Yankees were led by Lincoln Kling who kit a double in the top of the 5th inning to take the lead and pitched 2 innings.  Shawn Mathis hit a home run in the top of the 6th inning to reclaim the lead and secure the win.  For the Padres, Andrew Pratt pitched 2 innings and hit a home run into deep left field to temporarily take the lead in the bottom of the 5th inning.

4/24:
M&D Landscaping Mariners  11 R&R Express Mets  10
The Mets valiant 6th inning comeback fell just short, led by Chris Boone's 3 hits and 3 strikeouts on the mound.  The Mariners victory was led by Luke Peggs, who had 2 hits and 2 RBI, including a triple.  Landon Rodgers also had 2 hits and an RBI for the winners.

4/25:
Pet Check Urgent Care Yankees  13 Brightview Senior Living Nationals 3
For the Yankees, Michael McCone hit a  1st inning triple to left field and a 3rd inning double with 3 RBI.  Shawn Mathis hit a double, a 3 run home run and pitched a great 5th inning.  For the Nationals, Kameron Trewin went 2-4 and Logan Breyer had a single with a hard hit ball up the middle.
Deptford Democrat Club Astros  7 Semper Secure Mets  5
The Astros were led by Jaxson Guerra and Jack Crawford who had 2 hits a piece including an extra base hit each.  Jaxson also pitched a scoreless inning for the win.  The Mets were led by Chris Boone who went 2-3 and Joey Sharp who went 1-3 with a double and 3 RBI.
D&W Jacob Catering Cubs  9 Compass Self Storage Nationals  7
Alex Severino and Robert Scovelli led the charge for the Cubs, each going 4-4 at the plate.  For the Nationals, Patrick Cosgrove went 4-5 with 2 doubles, while Ryan Skolnick had an outstanding 5-5 performance, including a double, and displayed remarkable defense at first base.

4/30:
R&R Express Mets  12 Adelphia Mariners  8
The Mets were led by Ezra Jones batting 4-4 with 3 runs scored and Chris Boone's 3-4 with 2 runs scored.  For the Mariners, Huner Cotte had 2 hits including a double and 2 runs scored.
Re/Max Preferred Astros  11 Sims Metal Padres  5
Derek Ciconte and Jaxson Guerra led the way for the Astros each going 2-3 with a double and a combined 5 RBI.  Barry Giovanetti pitched 2 scoreless innings for the win.  For the Padres, Nick S. had his first hit of the season.  D. Pratt also blasted a 2 run homerun to right.

5/2: Bozzuffi Karate Yankees 12 Launch Trampoline Cubs  6
For the Yankees, Michael McCone went 3-3 with a 2 RBI triple.  Lincoln Kling hit 2 doubles and pitched a shutdown 6th inning.  For the Cubs, Robert Scavelli went 2-2 with 2 runs scored.
Patient First Padres  13 Semper Secure Mets  2
Mike S. went 4-4 and Carter F. pitched his first game of the season to lead the Padres.  Cooper B. had his first hit of the season lining a ball over 2nd base.

5/3:
M&D Landscaping Mariners  12 Deptford Democrat Club Astros  8
Bradley Middlebrook was a major catalyst in the win with a hit and 2 runs scored, while Cameron Robinson played sparkling defense at second base, while adding a hit on offense.  For the Astros, Jaxson Guddo had 2 hits, including a double, and Charlie Palen added a double for the first hit of the season.

5/7:

 For the Yankees, Gianni McCone went 3-3 with a leadoff double to deep center.  Lincoln Kling went 2-3 and pitched 2 shutout innings.  For the Mariners, Bryce Greene had 3 hits with a hard hit double to deep right field.  He also pitched a shutdown 5 inning.

Brightview Senior Living Nationals  3 Sims Metal Padres  1
The Nationals were led by Logan Breyer who went 2-4 with 2 walks and a double.  Also, Francesco Caravello went 3-4 with a double.  For the Padres, Drew Pratt went 2-3 with 2 triples and Ayden Smith went 2-3.
Re/Max Preferred Astros  8 Launch Trampoline Cubs  8
The game was tied when called for darkness.  The Astros were led by Connor Ciconte who was 3-3 with an RBI and 2 runs scored.  Liam Adovas was 2-3 with his first double of the year.  The Cubs were led by Zack Allen and Alex Severino who were both 3-3.  Severino also threw a great 5th inning only surrendering a single run to keep the game tied.

5/9:
Compass Self Storage Nationals  3 M&D Landscaping Mariners  1
For the Nationals, Jaxson Senick went 2-3 and scored a run, and Kevin White went 2-3 with a walk and also scored.  For the Mariners, Bryce Greene had 3 hits with an RBI and Brody Jack drove in 2 runs.

5/16:
D&W Jacob Catering Cubs  9 Patient First Padres  7
Joseph Dellaratta had an outstanding performance, going 3-3, while Carter Farry scored the winning run for the Cubs.  On the Padres' side, Sunny Yung impressed by going 2-3 and delivering 2 strong innings on the mound.

5/17:
Adelphia Mariners  12 Lauch Trampoline Cubs  11
The Mariners got the win in walk-off fashion Friday.  Bobby Jack sparked the Mariner's offense with a leadoff home run, and Luke Pegs drove in 3 runs on 2 hits, including a 2-run triple.  For the Cubs, Derek Depanicis had 2 doubles and made a terrific play at first base, while Tyler Zapata stroked 2 singles including his first hit of the season.

5/21:
M&D Landscaping Mariners  19 Deptford Democrat Club Astros  13
In game 1 of the quarterfinals, Hunter Cotte and Cameron Robinson combined for 6 leads to lead the Mariners to the victory.  Finn Beach also stood out with 2 hits and 3 RBI while catching the entire game.  The Astros were led by Jaxson Guerra who had 2 hits, including a bases-loaded triple.  Sal Guddo also had 2 hits and scored 4 runs while catching a great game.

5/24:
Adelphia Mariners  13 Re/Max Preferred Astros  11
