GENERAL RULES

1. 8 vs. 8 contest. One goal keeper, seven field players. Of the seven players, three MUST be female. There is no maximum number of females allowed on the field during a game. If you have female goalie, you must have two female field players. If you do not have three field players you have to play down. One female player is required or your team must forfeit. 

2. NO SLIDE TACKLING!!! A slide tackle will be an automatic booking and an indirect kick for the opposing team. Goal keepers are allowed to slide in order to stop an attack, but must do so with cleats down.

3. No offside. Cherry-pick all you want. 

4. Goal keepers CAN NOT punt or drop-kick the ball. Doing so will result in an indirect kick for the opposing team. 

5. All games will consist of two 25-minute halves. Team's will have a 10 minute grace period. 

6. Minimum players to start a match is five. One goal keeper, four field players (one of five must be a female). Players must wear shin guards. 

7. Substitutions are permitted on any stoppage of play.  All substitutes must get the attention of the referee and permission to sub on.  

8. Free kicks must be given a distance of at least five yards. Free kicks can be indirect or direct. 

9. Shin guards must be worn by every player. No exceptions. 

10. Any rule not specifically covered above will be taken from FIFA's Laws of the Game, latest edition.

11. Female goals count as 1 point, male goals count as 1 point.

NOTABLE RULES CHANGES:

A) Female goals no longer count for two.

B) Goal kicks can be kicked directly into the opponent's half. Goal keeper's CAN throw the ball past midfield. Goal keeper's can not punt the ball.

C) Free kicks can be direct or indirect.
