Micro Development Program

Micro Development Program

The Micro Program is for players in U4-U8 (age chart).

Spring Season will run March - June --> Spring Summary Document

Fall Season will run August - October --> Fall Summary Document

The Micro Program is growing, and every season WE NEED COACHES.  We have a great group of returning coaches and a weekly practice curriculum to guide you.  The Club makes this community service activity very easy and fun to complete.  If you have interest or questions, feel encouraged to contact  Kacy Miller.

Please note that all player(s) will be assigned a practice day during the week that may be difficult to change. Please plan accordingly when signing up your children for other evening activities.

Each session is approximately 50 minutes. This 8-week program is a fantastic introduction to soccer and provides a great athletic activity for your child!

U6/U7/U8
Kim Donald Kromer Park (Essroc Fields/Nazareth Borough)

This 10-week program is designed to emphasize the development of fundamental foot skills while encouraging ball control and creativity.  Weekday practices consist of a 60-minute session led by a parent-volunteer coach -- a warm-up, 2-3 technical drills, and a small-sided 4v4 scrimmage. U6-U8 teams play one 50-minute Saturday 4v4 game. Format of gameplay includes kick-ins, corner kicks and goal kicks. Offsides is not enforced. Score is not kept, and there are no goalkeepers. (During Spring Seasons ONLY, U8 will play 4v4 plus a goalkeeper, to prepare for U9 gameplay, which is 7v7 with goalies.)

  • Co-ed teams will be formed and assigned to a parent-volunteer coach.
