REC COACHES CORNER
Coaches corner is designed for Evolution Rec Soccer coaches only. If you coach for Evolution Rec Soccer, than you will have access to the recreational soccer curriculum.  Once you are a verified Evolution Rec Soccer coach, you will be given permission to view the coaching education resources.  

Most youth sports coaches are unprepared for their position. Studies show that only 5-10% of youth sport coaches have received any relevant training.  We know most coaches sign up because their own child is on the team and no one else volunteered. The next thing they know it is the first day of practice and they have a whistle and clipboard – but no in house or formal training has taken place.  Quality trained coaches benefit children, youth sports programs and communities in countless ways. If volunteer coaches are comfortable and confident in their abilities to work with children and coach the sport, they will feel like – and be – an extremely valuable part of the youth sports program.  When you are a part of Evolution Soccer Club, you will have access to age appropriate practices for a whole season.  In addition to a coaching curriculum, we will look to provide the following:

- Coaching articles about player development and child development
- Fun, entertaining activities
- Age appropriate practices
- In-house full season practices sessions and activities for U6, U8, U10 and U12 age groups
- US Soccer developed practices
- Coaches gear including scrimmage vests and cones
