Recreational Team Policies

As a part of the Folsom Lake Soccer League (FLSL), please be sure to review and abide by the recreational team policies on the league site:

The recreational policies are located on the bottom in the following order:

Coach Code of Conduct
Conflict Resolution
Five Goal Differential
Sideline
Small-Sided Game Defender and Attacker Field Placements

U5-U8 Playing Rules and Regulations

Practice Cancellation Guidance

According to FLSL policy, practices/games must be cancelled when any of the following are true during the event time:

the temperature is 104 degrees or higher, or
the air quality is 151 or higher (sparetheair.com), or
lightning is in visual range, or
fields have been closed by the Orangevale Recreation and Parks Disctrict (see below)

Inclement Weather Policy

Orangevale Recreation and Parks District (ORPD) owns the following fields that Orangevale Youth Soccer Club utilizes for practice and match play: Coleman School Fields 1 and 2, Orangevale Park Fields 1 and 2, Palisades Park Fields 1 and 2, Orangevale Community Center, and Pecan Park. Please read the ORPD Inclement Weather Policy for these fields.
