Roxbury 10U Baseball Hosts Tourney

Teams from surrounding towns, including Montville, Denville, Wayne, Kinnelon and Long Valley, competed to receive the prestigious title of District 10u Champs. For the second year in a row, Roxbury beat Montville in the semi-finals to advance to the finals. However, Kinnelon (5-0) beat Roxbury (4-2) by a score of 4-3 in a great finals game to finish out the tournament.Roxbury took second place with the loss, but the players are excited to have the chance to return to the States for a second time. “Our players have lots to be proud of as, year after year, they get better and work harder to get closer to winning these titles,” said Coach Mike Paxos.
