With idea of the early years of a life being the most impressionable, in late 2010 early 2011, with little or no practice resources, the fernwood falcons were born. We started with a boys’ team and a girl teams (20 kids) both in the 10 years old division. After the first season, The next year (2011-2012) we expanded to six separate teams (6u,8u,(2)10u,(2)12u) each team participated in the city of Savannah basketball league  (Jan-mar), The following  2012-2013 season was a success to say the least .The 10u boys went undefeated WINNING the division II championship. Both the 10u girls and 12u girls won the city championship earning trips to represent Savannah the in GPRA State championship tournament in Atlanta, GA .The 10u made it to the final four and the 12u placed second overall. With much continued success in the 2013-2014 city leagues of savannah ga we began to seek out higher levels of competition . We then started competing in more competitive summer leagues , AAU events ,and other out of  state tournaments.
