Founded in the mid 80's as Hemby Bridge Athletic Association,
"HBAA" offered an introduction to organized sports programs under one association to the local community.

 Fast forward to years later once the Porter Ridge school cluster was built and the small town of Hemby Bridge and Indian Trail had experienced tremendous growth, HBAA offically changed its name to the Porter Ridge Athletic Association, "PRAA" banner used today.  



We now serve over 1500 families and well over 2000 children in the area thanks to the continued support of local businesses, volunteer staff, and others who donate their time and skills towards the development of youth athletics for our community.
PRAA is a non profit 501(c)3 entity with the standing motto "It's All About the Kids" as our foundation, and continues to bring our community together for all the right reasons!
