RRDSC Accepting Applications for Director of Coaching - Bayfield

Position:
Rio Rapids Durango Soccer Club Director of Coaching - Bayfield is responsible for cultivating a love of the game, and to provide an environment that creates a positive culture and promotes player development in the City of Bayfield. The Director will be responsible for providing a consistency for the overall soccer experience for players, coaches, and parents that are consistent with the RRDSC mission and vision. 

The Director will manage and oversee all player and coaching development within the Bayfield branch. In addition, the Director of Coaching makes sure that all coaches are following the club curriculum, as well as implementing the club philosophy and playing style across the entire club, no matter the age group. The Director of Coaching  will report to the Executive Director, the Board of Directors and is responsible for the programs, expansion, and execution of its mission, and act as a liaison between the Executive Director, the Board of Directors and club staff.

Leadership & Management:
- Assist Executive Director with marketing program
- Assists Executive Director with player recruitment
- Assists Executive Director with coach recruitment
- Assist Executive Director with structuring teams and assigning coaches
- Oversees Coach Development:
         1) Assist Executive Director with tracking coach licensing
         2) On field coach evaluations for age group
         3) Assist Executive Director with monitoring coach requirements (CPR, Safesport, concussion training, coach licensing)
         4) Assist Executive Director with tracking time sheets
- Assists Executive Director with implementing age specific coaching curriculum for club
- Maintains regular interaction with coaches, managers, players, and parents
- Holds coaches accountable for running well-planned, age appropriate training sessions
 and modeling club consistency/philosophy
- Holds On/Off field evaluations of coaches to assist in coach feedback and development
- Holds Players accountable for club protocol (training uniforms, behaviors, training
 expectations, meeting age group standards)
-Attends team meetings for all age groups
-Runs periodic guest sessions throughout the age groups
- Supervise player training and development
- League placement, tournament selection and game scheduling
- Oversee Bayfield Club Coaches, Team Managers, and volunteers
- Oversee facility management
- Attends monthly board meetings and delivers monthly reports on Bayfield teams 

 

Additional Duties:
- Assist Executive Director with administering extra programs (Intro to RRDSC, SPEED, TOPSoccer Program, G.O.A.L (Go Out And Lead) Program – community service, excellence in classroom)
- Assist Executive Director with organizing and running tryouts
