Practice. Pride. Performance.
Welcome to GBC Football!
We are very excited about the upcoming year and have already begun to make preparations for this season. We will be hosting some great spring events and we just completed our Football Mini Camp in June which drew over 100 participants!
The board for GBC has very dedicated volunteers who strive to always put the children and safety first.
Each year our program becomes stronger by having a record number of football sign ups. It proves that our staff’s commitment to its players has paid off, and we will continue to remain the top Pop Warner Football program in the area.
We at GBC believe that kids gain confidence and a love for the game through positive feedback from parents, coaches, and other players. We are committed to teaching our players the great game of football. We will continue to show our players how important it is to work as a team, and that having a positive attitude encourages confidence in themselves and their teammates. We will always encourage good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive support for all players, coaches, and officials at every game and practice. This is a child’s opportunity to enjoy playing in the game and learning to love the game of football.
And most important of all:
OUR PLAYERS WILL HAVE FUN!
** The first day of practice is scheduled for August 2 , at 6:00 PM at the Warnsdorfer practice fields. Please have the registration requirements fulfilled prior to the first practice. The first week of practice is the conditioning week. Players should wear a light t-shirt, shorts, athletic supporter and cup, socks and cleats (non-metal). Bring plenty of water and prescribed medication (in-halers) should be with the child at all times. Children with asthma CANNOT practice without their in-haler present. Also, parents of the instructional-Tiny Mite children must remain at practice.
We look forward to working with you and your child and making your experiences in our program one that will always be remembered.
Please keep in mind No Dogs and No Smoking permitted on the practice fields!
