Membership

Any head coach, assistant coach, or board member, parent or legal guardian of a VXS player shall be a registered member in good standing.  This membership is only valid for the player’s parent(s) or guardian and is not transferable to any other person. This membership term will be valid from the current year’s registration date to the succeeding year’s registration date. No person shall be considered a registered member in good standing if that member maintains outstanding payables to VXS.

Registered members in good standing have the right to petition, in writing, the officers and further the board members with any issues, complaints or suggestions.

Registered members in good standing must be willing volunteers within VXS.  Serving on committees, providing field maintenance, running the concession stand, raising funds, announcing games, operating the time clock and being team parent are examples of such responsibilities.

Members must execute along with their participant children execute the player contract which establishes the level of commitment and requirements for participation with a VXS.

Dues:    Typical Spring/Summer team fees are between $150 and $200 and go towards field rental fees, uniforms, insurance, equipment, tournament & league fees and other club administrative costs. This does not include travel expenses for any out of town tournaments.  The final cost depends on a few key factors set by VXS and the coach with input from his/her parents. VXS must collect fees to operate the club; however, the club works hard to minimize the fees as much as possible through smart business decisions and financial assistance from sponsors.
