Tryouts will be on fields 12-15 at Richard Siegel Park. All players will need to check in 20 minutes prior to their tryout time at the pavilion in front of field 13. Players will then be directed to their tryout field after check-in.

Open Tryouts Defined:

The Murfreesboro Soccer Club open tryouts/player evaluations will be held in May and June and are open to all players who meet the age requirements for the teams in question.  Each prospect will be given a fair opportunity to make a team in the Murfreesboro Soccer Club.  The open tryout evaluation will consist of two sessions.

Tryout fee is $10.00 for online registration.   All tryout fees are used to fund our scholarship program.

Tryout Procedure:

Players are required to check-in 15 minutes prior to the tryout time. 

Players should wear white (or light color) shirts.  All participating players will provided a numbered/colored bib or jersey that uniquely identifies them from the other players. Players MUST provide cleats, shin guards and ball and bring water. Players will not be allowed to tryout without proper equipment. The players will be asked to participate in various soccer-related activities to assess them.  The DOC and technical directors may consult with previous or current select coach for input about the player.

Parents will NOT be permitted on the fields during tryouts.

All players must attend the tryout for their age group.  Players that are interested in playing up a year must attend the first session in their age group and will then be allowed to attend the 2nd tryout in the older age group.  These players must also contact the MSC Director of Coaching (DOC) at [email protected].
