What to Expect Next:
- You will receive a confirmation email when you register
- Coaches will contact players with training time and location by August 24, 2020
- Training begins week of August 31, 2020
- Game Schedules will be released the week of September 7, 2020. Games begin September 12, 2020
For youth players, the age group within which a player participates is dictated by their birth date.
State Level Recreational Competition is configured for 2 year age groups (except U19)

Team request may not be honored if register after July 25, 2020
Scholarships and Financial Aid are available on a first come basis. Volunteer hours are required for all Scholarships/Financial Aid.
No volunteering, No Scholarships/Financial Aid in the future.
If you are seeking Scholarship or Financial Aid, you will need to come by the office and fill out paperwork.

Georgia State Soccer Association requires birth dates be verified. Therefore, ALL players in our program must provide a birth certificate. A copy of the birth certificate must be received in order for the registration process to be completed. You can upload a birth certificate during the registration process. U14 players and up are required to have a head shot for player passes, you can also upload those during the registration process. Head Coaches will receive a discount for volunteering their services; Assistant Coaches will receive a smaller discount. There can be a maximum of three (3) coaches for U5, U6; two (2) coaches for U8 and one (1) coach for U10, U12, U14, U16, and U19. Also (1) Assistant Coach per team.
To Be Supplied by Parents/Guardians
Shoes: Tennis/turf type shoes may be worn in our Sprouts, U5, U6, and U8 Recreational divisions.
We recommend that all players wear soccer shoes with molded cleats for better traction, cleats are only required to be worn by players in the U9-U19 age divisions.
Shin Guards: It is mandatory that all players(Sprouts - U19) wear shin guards to training and games. Shin guards must be covered by proper socks.
Ball: Soccer Balls are mandatory for practices. It is recommended that soccer balls be clearly marked with the player’s name and phone number.

ALL U14 AND UP TEAMS WILL PLAY GAMES at Badger Creek Park, Etowah River, other fields TBD
Games will be held Saturdays between 8:30 am-6:30 pm and Sunday games will not start before 12:00 pm

Rain out Policy
Games and Practices will be held, as long as conditions are safe and do not violate our rules or park guidelines. As a standard, we will do our best to alert the entire club via email, texts, and field status with as much notice as possible on Practice Nights and Game Days should practices or games be cancelled. However please keep in mind that certain Park closures and practice/game cancellations are determined by the City as well as the Badger Creek Complex Manager and they have the liberty to cancel depending on current field conditions or impending weather.
In the event games are cancelled games will be made up during the season as time and field space allow. It is up to the home team coach to get with the opposing coach to find a date that works for both teams. If no dates work for the opposing coach then it will be a forfeit against the opposing coach/team
There are no refunds or credits for cancellations due to weather

Refund Policy:
Cherokee Soccer has a no refund policy for all programs. If an extenuating circumstance exists to warrant consideration, a written request must sent to the office address of 157 Railroad Street, Canton, GA 30114.. These requests will be judged on a case-by-case basis. A letter must be submitted stating the reason for the refund. If follow up paperwork is required you will be contacted. No refund on uniforms. A $25.00 processing fee shall be deducted from refunds that are granted by the Board of Directors.
Requests must be made in writing. Phone calls or emails will not be accepted or considered in any situation.
